i would love to get your opinions on babby witcher geralt, pre-nasty secondary mutations so he still has hair pigment. his mom was a redhead so i like to imagine that!!

I love little redheaded babby geralt!!!!! with LOTS of freckles. I also imagine him being pretty sickly when he was little?? children of sorceresses often have health problems, and I don’t think geralt was an exception.

his childhood is an interesting subject to me bc his would have been different from any of the other children’s. he was literally raised at kaer morhen since he was a newborn, while many kids probably had some life before being dumped or brought there. not the best environment for any child, much less a baby.

I love vesemir being especially protective and attached to geralt since I doubt any of the other adult witchers would want to bother with something as weak and useless as a sickly infant. that sort of bond would definitely have been frowned upon since just the process of becoming a witcher could kill any child at any time, but it’s difficult to help if he literally raised this baby. geralt literally calls vesemir his father;;;
