It makes me sick to the stomach thinking how deeply rooted racism / xenophobia is in the family I'm born into which is Asian but hates other Asians. Its also insane how I turned out to be completely opposite of them all but it also makes me feel the loneliest because I truly am alone in dealing with them and their actions/words towards other Asians. And mind you, these are the ones who glorify the West and wonder why their kids aren't patriotic.
