Under Marvel's Epic Comic imprint, the first issue of Cadillacs and Dinosaurs was published with a cover date of November 1990. Hannah Dundee and friends (Xenozoic Tales), full figure commission 11x17″, cool gray copic markers. Xenozoic (Cadillac and Dinosaurs) by the great Mark Schultz is one of my favorite comic-book ever. It is currently reprinted by Flesk Publications, and I highly recommend it. Once you get past the nostalgic, yet breathtakingly beautiful art, you'll find a rich post-apocalyptic world, where mankind try to rebuild civilizations.   Smart characters, smart stories, gorgeous Cadillacs, fierce dinosaurs... you will ask for more!

With this drawing I decided to have a bit of extra fun so I made it a tribute to the phenomenal art of Mark Schultz and his cult classic comic book "Xenozoic Tales" (also known as "Cadillacs & Dinosaurs"). It was a small jump to make after my recent 50s style pinup drawings and I just couldn't resist drawing a dinosaur! :)  "Hannah Dundee " Graphite, 11 x 9 inches. (28 x 23 cm)
