Okay I'm starting to see a pattern here

Moulder says "fuck the rules", runs off without Scully, finds the aliens but doesn't get any proof or it gets busted up somehow, so then Scully is like "Okay I trust you but I'm a science gal so I'ma just look doubtful and confused" And they go on too look at some other weird, science-breaking shit, rinse and repeat
