It had been approximately five years since they'd met and three and a half years since they'd both joined the Astral Express. How many days... well, he didn't particularly care to keep tally. As Harmony lay beside him, the late hour entailing a time of sleep for them both, he found himself restless. Somehow, watching the watery, undulant blue light that reflected from the ceiling and cupped the pretty, bronzy contours of the cyborg's face soothed him. His finger traced along her cheek, quiet and pacifying.

Maybe it was selfish, but it felt like her very presence had been the sleep that had helped him sleep since their days as stowaways.

Knowing she was safe was the only thing that lulled him to sleep.
