"Oh, uh,” Xiang Mi mustered, a bit shocked to actually see someone around here; wherever ‘here' was that is, “you're not the only one.” All she had seen for the past day it seemed was only boulders and trees, with no map that could really help navigate her way out.

"Where’d you come from," she asked, hoping this person, who seemed innocent enough, could team up with her to find a town or something of the sorts, “as in, before you got lost?”

【火】— The question momentarily took him aback, but he had become so ridiculously good at lying about his origins that he barely even hesitated.

"Kyoshi Island." he began, awkwardly shifting his weight from one foot to another. "I've been heading North for about two days and I still have no idea where I am." he added, shoulders lightly dropping.

He eyed the girl for a moment: there was absolutely nothing unusual or suspicious about her, for she really just looked like a regular Earth Kingdom traveller. That was exactly why he had approached her, though, and he was hoping that they could somehow help each other out.

"...I guess I'm lucky the weather is nice." he smiled a bit, glancing up at the clear sky that could be seen through the forest's foliage. "But where did you come from?"
