(Even considered becoming a mortician for a brief time after school. i was full on goth back then i wonder what people would have thought xD) the experience of grief and being confronted with mortality is such a universal one. it's just endlessly fascinating to me how people across all times and cultures deal with that spectre

And BOY did they go hard in the video 😳 idk what it was like for you but because it was so short i just had these rapid-fire realisations like: okay so the emperor is administrating some funeral rides very tenderly, as you do in romantic tragedies - oh oh ... now he's marrying the corpse 💔😭 - and he's not burying the corpse any time soon that's some unhealthy af attachment 😬 - IS THAT A ROTTING FINGER? 😳
