They say he likes precious things just to break them apart, after all, a son of the sun is meant to burn everything he touches.
They also say most gems come from the bowels of the Earth, made by pressure and heat over millions of years. But pearls come from patience, care and protection, they do not glow under destruction.
This was a tale meant to end in tragedy and sorrow, another example of the sun crushing others under their blaze.
