stupid question I'm sure, but how do you automatically tag asks as ask and anonymous/user name? i've got autotagger but I can't see the option for it ..
Yeah, sorry, this is confusing. Tags related to asks are in XInbox, because it uses a special method to tag asks that AutoTagger doesn’t have.
Here’s what the preferences should look like:
For some reason I can't post any of my asks until I completely turn off xinbox, sos. It keeps saying that the ask can't published and "I was unable to reach Tumblr servers, or the server returned an error." SOS
We’re going to need more info to help debug this. What browser are you using? Which version of that browser? What version of XKit? Which operating system? Unfortunately this is too vague for us to provide any kind of meaningful help right now :(
can Xinbox create a way to block suggested blogs already???
Hi, I get the following message any time I try to use Xinbox. I’ve tried doing everything it suggests, but nothing works. Not even resetting xkit entirely.
I’ve also gotten this error every time I try to use tag replacer.
If your main blog is password protected, or if you are trying to use Tag Replacer on a private blog, these errors are unfortunately unavoidable due to the way XKit authenticates itself to Tumblr.
Is XInbox part of another extension now or is it deleted? Because it doesn't show up when I browse the extensions
It should be installed automatically when you install XKit. You should find it under “My XKit”.
Thank you so much for updating xkit! One of the main things I've noticed about the state of the extension as it stands is the greyed out font for many of the profile viewed extensions (similar to, dashboard stats etc.). Are you guys working on fixes for those?
We just fixed this for Post Archiver, Tag Replacer, XInbox, and XStats. You might have to manually hit “update” in the extensions browser to see the changes. Please tell us if we missed anything!
