Well he had initially been asking about one of the weird faceless grey things, he now seemed to nod vigorously as Ziel pointed to his own braid. Yes! That! What happened to your pretty colors??? Angels can't lose color!

The blond grimaced before shaking his head. Eventually he gently took a marker from the child's hands, and sketched a speaker, before drawing an large X on top. No hearing, no voice, did that make sense?

......He lost his color because those were... his individuality.

Yes? No? Maybe that was too confusing??? FORGET IT NEXT QUESTION HE JUST NOTICED SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT. He tears out and crumples the page, scribbling something else down. It really is just a splotch of bright red with an arrow pointing from it to a patch of gray, and more question marks. He points at Ziel with one of his markers though for emphasis.

Wait. What's wrong Ziel, why aren't you talking??? There's a little frown, before the kid perks up again. He runs to grab a sketch book, scribbling his question on it before presenting it to Ziel. Oooof course the trouble is it's more a crudely drawn picture than a question. A red stick figure, some hearts, and lots of question marks.

What-- What does that even mean?

The blond's ears fold as he squints his eyes at the paper, trying to decipher the childish scribbles. The red... that's HIM, right? He's the only red person here (Bolero wasn't that shade of red..). So him, plus some hearts and question marks.
