Since it’s still a few days to the American release, this is under a read more- spoiler warning!
Given how odd what happened to Alex in XMA was, the inconsistency and suddeness, lack of a body, implausible with his powers, plus Alex is shown wearing the uniform in the emoji sets, I think he was actually meant to show back up at some point and shock the others, who’d assumed he died- but the scenes were cut maybe for pacing reasons
just like Lana said her character appeared a lot and joked that her scenes might get cut, which in the end they were because the scenes where they’re at the mall together? GONE
basically Lana and Lucas got the Anna Paquin in DOFP treatment because yet AGAIN Singer has gone too big and too busy with a film
I genuinely think Lana and Lucas had scenes cut out rather than their characters flat out barely appearing.
They should have cut that stupid Logan scene rather than these two babies ffs no one cares about Wolverine anymore
