Yiren, or Maki, as people still got used to call her despite the fact that she got herself out of the predicament she had been for years until more recently, was invited to a party and not thinking much of it, she attended, wanting to spend her time now with people she loved, instead of getting time to waste, when she could be in good company and possibly getting to know more friends in case anyone out their circle would be invited to the birthday party.
What she didn’t expect was someone to have an idea to a game that came with other intentions less innocent than what the previous entertainment has been like.
Only thing she can recall was that they excitedly told her and Timothy to close their eyes once seating up, which she did despite finding the whole situation suspicious to say the least and right after, she heard a click and something cold in one of her wrists.
“There! Thank us later.” The individual that had the key teased with a wink and as if that wasn’t enough fun, he lost footing for a minute due to being altered due to alcohol, lost the key to the floor and the birthday boy’s dog caught sight of it, ran in and swallowed the key whole, making the female’s eyes widen. If locked in and the key was now on the poor dog’s system, how would they break free?
“Well, Lori -- ”Jieun called her best friend by the cute nickname she gave her and tapped the counter of the kitchen as she smiled. “I think that another batch of cookies is about done, do you think that we are in need of anything else? “I just need to vanish out of here and can’t do so on my own or else I’ll be caught.” She let her eyes wildly search around the perimeters surrounding them, to make sure they coast was clear, but still she made sure to hide her long hair under the piece of cloth she managed to find, seeing that besides her wings, that was another evident clue of her identity. The identity she now clearly recalled and owned again, because somehow she also managed to tear up the contract with the witch and that got her name and memories back.

Yiren doesn't remember this days, but she used to be from a noble fairy family and once she found out that she had been promised to marry someone from another family, whom she didn't knew and didn't love, she threw a bit of a tantrum, before realizing that instead of just exploding on her family, like most kids her age, she should let herself relax on her own while thinking that eventually everything would be better, so she went away on a walk on her own.
Like on the infamous story of 'Alice in Wonderland', Yiren then fell from a pack of leaves she had been trying to rest by and found herself in a unknown place, for some strange reason.
The worse is that once upon arrival, the head witch approached her and seeing that back in those days she was a little too young to know what dangers she could find in her way, nor did to perceive the intentions the other could have, she followed the latter, assuming that she wanted to help alike promised and signed a contract that made her forget everything including her name, so that she never found out the truth of what happened and how the witch enslaved her.
Nowadays, although not remembering whom she is, she still remains curious, calm. She tries to always rationalize before acting and manages to see the best side of things in almost everything.
Besides seating by a tree to enjoy the warmth of the sun, whenever finding the authorization to have some free time around the premises, she's also distributing flyers as her job whenever the witch takes her around town as her company her free time.
