Welcome to the burrow. It is always this loud and it does take some getting used to. I have to admit how pleasantly surprised I was when I heard Freddie was bringing a new girlfriend to the burrow this year for the holidays. I hope you don’t get scared off too easily. I hope you like the gifts. I have to admit I had to rely on the age old advice of my grandmother - “You can never go wrong with candles or jewelry” - but I think I did fairly well. Welcome to the Burrow. Yes, it is always this crazy. You get used to it. Or you learn to tune it out. I’ll admit that since I’m not much of a drinker I wasn’t sure what to get someone who owns and runs a bar. But I thought the ‘mixology dice’ would be a very neat way to come up with new and exciting drinks. You can use them with Scorpius when I get him home. Because that’s my real gift to you. I will bring him home, I promise you. In the meantime, the coasters and drink board, you’re welcome to use or not use if you like. I just thought they happened to be pretty cool. The glasses are for you to remember your place. Roxanne is always right. (Not that I’m sure she’d ever let you forget it.) Merry Christmas, Mr. Nott. Hopefully we’ll see you again next year.

Because I’m sure you miss Canada, Freddie. I haven’t forgotten you ran away to play with moose and eat maple syrup over a year ago. Just in case you miss it, the moose is there for comfort. The syrup I actually did have imported from Canada since I’m sure there’s has got to be the best. And everyone in Canada wears flannel, right? Either way, it’s a good shirt that’s thick enough to double as outerwear. It’ll keep you safe. I charmed it myself to do just that. Merry Christmas, Moose-head.

I thought you’d enjoy having your own little terrarium, with which you can hone your element in growing new plants and tending to the ones already potted. The gift basket is because, though I met Noah only twice and very briefly and he seems to be nice enough, I’m sure dealing with a celebrity has got to be stressful at times. Gifts for the warrior in training. A new mug for you to drink your morning tea from and a satchel that can be worn all sorts of ways for convenience during combat to hold your things and have your wand always at the ready. The little basket is full of things to help you relax, though. Auror training can be very stressful and I remember it certainly took it’s toll on me. It still does. Don’t forget to take time for yourself like you’re always reminding me to, and relax every so often. You deserve it. Merry Christmas, and here’s to you serving alongside me one day.
