Fingers trail across the other's arm, feather light and brushing through brunet locks with the utmost tenderness the blond could muster, a warm gaze mirroring as much. With a smile on his lips, he pressed a kiss against the other's own, nuzzling closer whilst a free hand rose to brush against a sun-kissed cheek. "Happy Anniversary, love." He murmured, just barely parting from the other's mouth, breath warm and ghosting back against his own face from their proximity. "Here's to another."

Link’s kisses made him melt every time, as if it were the very first they’d ever exchanged - especially on this day. Memories from a Yule time passed flitted through his mind, and almost instinctively, L’s arms moved to loop themselves around the Hero of Time’s form, drawing him closer. Gods, he felt like the luckiest man in the world when he held his predecessor like this.
As far as he was concerned, he very much was.
His response to the greeting was a happy hum, followed by another kiss that he stole from Link’s lips, this one slow and lingering. There was nothing warmer than his beloved’s kisses, he’d decided, and even with the chill that now hung in the air, L found himself far from cold.

The sprig of green that hung above their heads went entirely unnoticed, though the sight would have likely drawn forth a laugh, had he seen it. For the time being, however, it was only the man in his arms who held his attention.
Specifically those soft, tender eyes that reminded him so much of glittering, sapphire waters.
“I l-l-l-- l-l-love y-you,” he whispered then, tilting his head to take a third kiss, unable to resist Link’s sweet taste, “I l-l-lov-ve y-y-you s-s-so-- s-s-so m-m-much-ch...”
