Let me just explain to you what happened today at work. First off, we're highly understaffed right now because we can't afford anybody's labor hours. So we're fucked right there. Second, today I had a special duty to which I control money throughout the day. Guess who couldn't do their job?? Me!! I didn't even get the keys until literally 2.5 hours after my shift started because I was too busy ringing people out instead of doing my job. That was fun. And guess what this means?? Nobody had any money in their drawers because I couldn't leave to go GET THEIR LOANS. Sounds like fun right? Next, today must have been channeling satan (6/6/16) because every single asshole decided to come to our establishment TODAY. At the SAME TIME. I've never heard so many complaints or sighs of disgust in my entire lifetime compared to what I heard today. Who raised these people? After that, I actually get to go on my (super late!) lunch! (After willingly skipping my first break because I had to be on a register for 5 hours straight) Oh, but this was too good for today so the universe decided to just spray the floor with spontaneous water and have me slip and injure my wrist. Right before my lunch break. My only break the entire DAY. So instead of people trying to help me, they literally looked at me with distain and I even heard someone say to another (in their privileged white females voice): "Well, that only shows how unsafe it is here." And I got so embarrassed I cried all the way into the back employee area to clock out. (Thank FUCK for my perfect girlfriend for being there when that happened she's an angel) But yeah. Now, that just leaves the end of my day because it pretty much ended after lunch. I had to report my injury because it actually didn't end up being "just nothing, I'm fine" and I couldn't bag anyone's stuff anymore. After talking with the nurse line, we all pretty much decided all I needed was good rest and the usual ice and whatnot. But, since labor sucks I had to clock out and not even finish my duty for the day. Now, let me get this out there; I'm not pissed because of what happened. It just was a horrible day, filled with bad luck, bad people and bad circumstances. Sometimes, I'm just appalled with how people think they can treat us, just because we're retail workers in this day in age. We work just as hard, we feel just as hard and we try just as hard to lead better lives for ourselves that we didn't even fuck up. Check yourself before you set your team up for failure please. We don't appreciate it.

Went to Little Tokyo again to see the Fairytale Boutique closing event! It's sad, but it was a fun date with drinksteawithcake 💕 Little girls were so fascinated with us, I think they believed we were actual princesses! Can't wait to attend future meet ups!
