Klavier has taken a seat in the third floor lobby, staring out the floor-to-ceiling window, watching the birds as they dart around the courtyard. He's lucky, really, that in the last twenty-odd minutes that he'd been left alone. If he had to guess, he'd assume there are likely already reporters gathered like flies as they usually did when it came to his court cases-- the same way they had seven years ago when he'd faced Phoenix Wright in court and gotten him disbarred for forgery.
Wrongly disbarred of forgery. That much had been proven beyond a doubt in this very trial, and at the very hands of his own brother. He wondered if they'd already made the connection that Prosecutor Gavin and disgraced Defense Attorney Kristoph Gavin were siblings. It's not like the information was private, simply something most didn't bother to learn.
It was just too much. He wished he could take his brother by the shoulders and shake him-- what on earth had Kristoph been thinking? First murder and now... or, no, the other way around. First forgery, then seven years of lies and deception and stalking, and then murder. The escalation might have made more sense that way around if it had been anyone else-- someone who wasn't his own flesh and blood.
He looks fine, all things considered, still put-together even if he's been sitting in one place as long as he has, the only thing telling a different story is the way he's fiddling with his rings on his fingers.
