☾: Sleep Headcanon

No matter how much Emmanuel tries he finds himself too often for his liking falling for human habits. Sleep mainly. He doesn’t have a place for sleeping in his apartment but anytime he wants to fall asleep on purpose, he huddles in a blanket in his armchair. He doesn’t feel cold, nor is he sleepy, he uses sleep as a way to forget his worries about Father and a way to his memories of Heaven.

☠: Drinking Headcanon

Drinking is one of the habits Emmanuel doesn’t get. He remembers each minute of the night when he took stranger’s advice to get drunk and forget his problems. — He got angrier, sadder and lonelier. That’s one of the most troubling experiences he has from the Earth.

♒: Phobia Headcanon

When I was making up Emmanuel’s personality, there was this thing that couldn’t let me go. One thought. One question. — Why is Emmanuel so interested in finding God? Because he loves him? He wants him to get everything right? Partly, yes. But then there’s his fear. Fear of himself, fear of being left alone. Even now when he’s searching for Father it keeps his mind busy. It keeps him safe. Because he’s afraid that if he loses his faith there’s nothing left. Just himself. By himself. Autophobia, I have a feeling.

⋆: Sex Headcanon

Not even after a millenia on the Earth had ever Emmanuel spent night with someone. He keeps himself busy, he doesn’t see a reason but the main thing that kept him from that even when he was drunk or wanted to give up his Grace already, he just couldn’t force himself into anything because he still realised all he did was living in this vessel whom he didn’t want to disrespect by using his body for things of ‘no big importance’.

☮: Random Headcanon

In the times Emmanuel finds himself curious about humans and their lives, he prefers studying their art and history over actually coming in contact with them. He had been in the biggest libraries all over the world but the actual human beings he spoke to could be counted by the fingers of his hands, counting even those who he greeted only.

☻: ‘Like’ headcanon

Speaking of history, that’s what Emmanuel likes the most on the Earth. Having seen part of it by himself, he was always interested in adaptions humans made for these particular parts and wrote in the books. He will never get tired of comparing what he saw to what they’re saying that happened.

♤: ‘Dislike’ Headcanon

The reason why Emmanuel tends to avoid a straight contact with humans might have been caused by themselves since they tended to disappoint him a lot. It hurts him everytime seeing one of them being rude to another, physically or psychically attacking each other or doing other bad things. It remind him of his brothers and that’s not what he wants his Father’s creations to be. He finds it quite disrespectful, especially after God has left Heaven to live among them.

☯: Pet Peeve Headcanon

Emmanuel takes his quest really seriously and that’s why it really annoys him when someone doesn’t. His brothers considered it nothing but a fool’s journey and that was why he cut off their bonds. He couldn’t handle them making fun of this while in his eyes it was the only thing that could save them all. 

☄: Weather Headcanon

Emmanuel’s favourite weather of all is a storm. No matter how much he loves safety, storms are something he had experienced the first time when he started his life on the Earth. In Heaven, there was mostly sunshine and blue sky without a cloud but stormy weather remind Emmanuel of his brothers and things they did while he was watching. Plus, it is another excuse to look up at the sky. To look at his long lost home.

☼: Cooking Headcanon

Since Emmanuel doesn’t need to eat, the only thing he can cook properly is tea. The kettle is the only thing he uses, and can use, in the kitchen, whenever he touches something else it ends up on fire sooner or later. He’s not one for domestic life.
