So... “X of Swords”, hm?

What are your thoughts on X of Swords: Creation. And on a related note, do you think the X-Men will be introduced to the MCU using the new Mutant Nation concept or the classic Xavier School concept.

X of Swords thoughts so far?

I mean, it’s early days yet, but I like what I see so far.

It’s very well set-up; I did a whole re-read of Excalibur right before the first issue went up, and Tini Howard has done a really good job of setting up all this sword, Otherworld, portals, sacrifice stuff. Likewise, if you go as far back as HOXPOX and X-Men #2, Hickman’s also been seeding this Arakko/Summoner stuff for a while now.

I was quite surprised at how quickly they went for some of the big reveals - that Arrako and Amenth have united against Apocalypse (and Krakoa?), that Summoner is a double agent - given that it’s a 22-issue crossover and you’d think than ten duels = ten issues. 

I did have this to say, wrt to Summoner.
