sully santana info dump:

— her full name is ursula morena santana 

— call her anything but sully and she will likely ignore you or assume she’s in trouble lol

— she was in the air force prior to the outbreak. or more so had just gotten out of it

—sully had a rough upbringing that i have yet to fully flesh out

— she now works as a smuggler, navigator, and cipher amongst other things alongside joel

a kiss in the aftermath of a fight + delilah — @xoteajays

okay, so this is more kiss during a fight + in the aftermath, but! it finally got me to write how delilah and xavier get together so. hope you like it!

“So, I heard Simmons asked you out. How’d she take it?”

Delilah wrinkles her nose as she doodles lazily in the margins of her English paper. Her dogs are finally starting to look less like bears, so that’s nice. “How’d she take what?”

Xavier tears his gaze away from his notebook, raising an eyebrow pointedly. “Rejection? Did she lash out or take it well?

She keeps her eyes fixed on her paper, leg beginning to bounce. “That would require me actually rejecting her.”

The tip of his pencil breaks as he blinks at her, eyes wide.”Wait, you said yes?”

“Yeah?”

“But - but you barely know her!”

Delilah sighs, leaning back in her seat. “So? Lots of people go out with people they don’t know well.”

He squints at her. “You literally made a PowerPoint presentation for me last year about what being demisexual meant. So why are you bothering going out with someone you don't have an emotional connection with, never mind any type of connection?”

“Because she asked? I don’t know, maybe I’ll start to like her.”

He rolls his eyes. “You won’t. She’s not your type. She’s loud and annoying and watches FRIENDS-”

“Jesus christ, Xav, I’m not going to turn her down just because she watches FRIENDS-”

“I bet her favorite character is Ross.” He quirks his eyebrows pointedly.

Delilah groans, crossing her arms over her chest, narrowing her eyes at him. “Dude, what’s your problem? Am I not allowed to try something new?”

He clears his throat, but he can’t hide the way he starts tapping the table rapidly. “I don’t have a problem.”

“Yeah, you obviously do. Katherine is perfectly nice - she’s like the perfect person to try having a crush on.”

Xavier points his pencil at her. “That! Trying to have a crush - you shouldn’t have to try to have a crush, it should just develop naturally. You shouldn’t just go out with her because you could like her, you should go out with someone you actually like.”

His words hit her like a sucker punch to the chest. Shooting to her feet, she strides over to his easel, desperate to put space between them as she snaps, “Oh, fuck off, Thorpe. We both know I would if I could.”

Xavier swivels in his seat, the corners of his lips quirking up at the sentence. Oh fuck him, enjoying her unrequited crush for him. Asshole. “I think-”

“Nope, you don’t get an input on my love life,” she snaps, cutting her eyes at him. He raises an eyebrow, her annoyance only intensifying at the action. “You don’t get to say shit on how I attempt to get over you, understand? You’re not interested and that’s fine, but when I try to move on you can’t just criticize my choices.” 

He stares at her, biting his lip to keep from smiling. “Oh my god, stop smiling - this isn’t fucking funny! I’m trying to be real with you and you’re not taking it seriously!”

Xavier grins lazily. “No, I’m totally taking it seriously.”

I hate him. I truly hate him. “Oh, it’s so funny, huh, watching me deal with the fact that I like you? Must fluff up that ego of yours, knowing I like you, you selfish, egotistical, piece of shit-”

In a smooth movement, Xavier crosses the room and grabs her shoulders. Before she can snap at him, he yanks her close and-

Oh.

His lips slot against hers, soft but firm. She whimpers against her will, desperately cupping his cheeks as they stumble, the windowsill pressing into her back. Every nerve in her body sparks as his hands slide down her arms, gripping her hands tightly. Her brain races into overdrive, questions shooting by at the speed of light. Then her hands slip into his hair, gripping the loose strands and he makes a sound that sounds almost like keening and her brain short-circuits completely.

He pulls away with a choked gasp, cheeks flushed as a crooked grin breaks across his lips. “We have got to do that again.”

A squeaky sound she’s never made before forces itself out of her mouth. He snickers, rubbing his thumb against the back of her hand. “If I’d known that kissing you would shut you up, I would have done that forever ago.”

His sarcasm cuts through the fog of her brain as she glares at him. “Shut the fuck up or it’ll never work again.”

He mimes locking his lips before tilting his head, eyes soft as he gazes at her. “Fine. But we still have to do that again.”

Delilah’s heart leaps in her chest at the idea before reality slams into her. Just months ago he’d never even thought of her romantically- this can’t be real. He can’t actually like her, it doesn't make sense. Right? 

“Xavier, if this is just a joke or something, I swear to god I’ll shoot you,” she breathes, heart pounding so loud she can hear it in her ears.

“I’ll just stay far away from the archery center.”

She glares at him, dropping his hands and crossing her arms over her chest. “We both know that won’t stop me.”

Xavier smiles softly, placing his hands on her hips and pulling her closer, her skin blazing at the touch.”Yeah, I know.”

And then they’re kissing again and she melts into him. There’s so many questions she has- when did he start liking her? what made him look at her differently? is this a one-time thing or are they a thing? But as he brushes his thumb against her hip bone, all thought escapes her.

Fuck yeah, they were definitely going to have to do this again.

it's so funny bc i got this ask and fig very much went. '*looks left* *looks right* me?" bc his goal in life is to be the most boring man alive NLDNFNNLKFN so he was like. 'no that must be wrong. someone else surely.' but no im so glad to talk about him bc he's my Best friend!

fig has lived a very simple life - well, as simple as a ward of district 12 can have. he lives in the district's group home, where all the kids without parents live. conditions are pretty shit, but fig's a fighter - he gets by. he essentially grows up on the streets, eating out of dumpsters and putting his name in the reaping a couple extra times. he works maybe a little illegally some shifts in the mines when he's underage. other than that, he mostly keeps his head down and sticks to himself. loner core - much like other resident weirdos katniss everdeen and madge undersee, who sit with him on the first day of lunch bc he's got the only table left open!!!

now fig is Not a Talker and luckily neither are these ladies so they all just kinda chill. occasionally he runs into them outside of school - follows katniss as she hunts, sees madge as she picks strawberries. he Lurks. madge notices him but kind of just lets him tag along, and eventually he just starts going with her, an unspoken invitation. it's a friendship forged in solitude and simplicity and appreciating each other's company.

the problem with this is that fig, though he longs desperately to fade into non-existence, is also a Yearner. a hopeless romantic, a person who longs for things he can never have. so of course after spending some time around madge undersee he becomes Particularly fond of her and whoops! has a huge crush on her! so fig (because he's fig) immediately tries to isolate himself. no friend, no friend to have a crush on! madge seeks him out though bc. they are friends and she's not just gonna let him do that to himself. so they talk (as much as they can bc fig Hates discussing Feelings) and kind of sort themselves out and madge is like. 'well why didn't you tell me. you're one of two people people i enjoy being around and you're handsome.' so they start seeing each other. very secret relationship, her dad doesn't Hate fig outright but he def wouldn't approve so it's all very lowkey. but they are very in love <3

eventually he begins working with the rebellion - for katniss, his bud. gale brings him in bc though they aren't close (gale finds him strange and off-putting which. fair.) they can agree on this. he (unfortunately for him) makes it to district 13 but he and madge get separated and of course. she doesn't.

anyway fig is a very supporting character who probs Wouldn't make it onscreen in the real world but he's personal to ME he's my best friend <3 (sorry if this is nonsensical i asked him to put this down into words and he looked at me blankly for like 3 hours)

juniper greengrove - thresh's girlfriend (/fiancee technically :(), farmhand and unofficial teacher in district 11, rebellion leader, nosey district 13 resident who puts her nose in places where she doesn't belong, friend to the friendless and helper to the helpless

mercury lovelock - winner of the 51st hunger games, depressed housewife and ex-mother, tribute in the quarter quell, had a tragic ex-situationship during her games, she and haymitch met during winners' events and have a fun little antagonistic relationship going on

taffeta poplin - winner of the 69th hunger games, ptsd sufferer, ex-darling of her district turned hermit, badly burned because her arena was on fire, close with finnick (and annie) who later introduced her to johanna, she and johanna are... homoerotic friendship exes? to lovers?
