Woa Xournal++ is a nifty program :3
Digital notebook go brrrrrrrr
Xournal is a really nifty bit of software. It advertises itself as a pdf editor, but it also has a native format that supports all kinds of inputs; including graphics tablet so you can hand write/draw; and can be exported as a pdf at any time, for any reason. It has an option for musical staves as a page background, and LaTeX support (setting this up is not for the faint of heart). I really recommend it as an alternative note-taking app to onenote, provided you have either a lot of local storage or the discipline and coordination to do good version control on a cloud storage service. My only real complaint is against the default font (or default on my Linux device at least).
It's called Sans Regular, and look at that kerning. Screaming crying throwing up. Yes there are other options, but aren't defaults supposed to be good?
