Having largely poached your fancasting for board making, any thoughts on who you would want for the characters involved in the Queenmaker plot?
Ooh thanks for asking me this! Ive recently been trying to include more Black actors in my fancasts because the Moors in Spain (who the Dornish are based on) were from North Africa so this fancast list will reflect that.
1) Spotted Sylva - Aiyana Lewis. This was the reason it took so long to get around to this ask! I used to watch Aiyana all the time on youtube but I forgot her name and I searched for ages because I knew she’d be perfect.
2) Garin - Zakaria Khiare a morrocan male model. Garin is described as loose limbed and so i think this fancast works.
3) Drey- Alfred Enoch. You probably know him from playing Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter films or Wes in How to Get Away with Murder. I also think Alfred could be a good fancast for Garin
4) Gerold Dayne - Fu'ad Ait Aattou, a Moroccan/French male model and actor. I think hes got the chiseled/edgy looks Arianne described Gerold as having. Literally all you need to do is dye his hair blonde but leave a black streak and youre good to go
5) Arianne - Tabria Majors, a famous plus size model. I believe she was in the 2019 Savage x Fenty camapign? Anyways I want to see more curvy fancasts for Arianne and currently she’s my favourite one!
6) Myrcella - Elle Fanning when she was a teenager. Her role in Somewhere in 2010 would have been at around the same age as Myrcella.
7) Arys Oakheart - JJ Field. Idk if youve ever seen the 2004 BBC version of Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile but JJ Field's character in that particular movie is how I picture Arys (in kingsguard armor obvi). Hes a bit blonder in these photos than i would like but Arys is described as having light brown hair so meh
