[Previous part]

Joelle felt her own body feel heavy , losing all sort of balance before she ended up on the ground. The strike the samurai did , was more fatal that she thought it was... she could feel half of her face throbbing like there was electricity running through her nerves and veins , she couldn't even open her eye on that side it felt like it was paralyzed . Her vision began to get blurry as she felt how she was losing consciousness . Joelle was out of ideas she didn't know what to do , it felt like a dead end , she was trying so hard to stay awake but it felt harder and harder to do so 'Is this going to be my end...? ' A thought crossed her mind as she heard the footsteps of her foe approach her and gave down upon her. 'No.. I have to think of something...' she didn't want to give up yet , so perhaps she could play the dying part for the meantime , but she was certain that he won't stop there. Lee paused himself next to the red-haired woman that was laying down on the ground and by the looks of it losing a lot of blood . His expression was unphased , more like disappointed since he thought that there was a bit more of a challenge behind this woman , but alas it seems like he was wrong... or was he not?

The small earpiece in his ear began to buzz , as Lee reached up and clicked on it , hearing a voice right away without him saying a word first. ->"Lee . What's your Status? " The man asked , getting a small huff from the samurai's side. Lee's frown grew wider as he kept an eye on his target just in case. ->" It seems like that our target doesn't have the arrow . " ->"Are you certain of it?" ->"Yeah..." He began to exchange with the voice that was coming from the ear piece , Lee decided to take a step back for a short moment to talk the details further , since he was certain that she wouldn't survive long with so much blood flowing out of her face , she probably had 3-4 minutes to live. Joe tried to hold herself a little longer until she felt something... she felt something give her a small signal which was enough , she felt a slight pat on the head by her own Stand , because earlier if she would recall correctly she had a very hard time trying to summon it and use it's abilities , but now it seems that the source that was blocking her stand was gone and perhaps there was a slight chance that she could get away from this situation. Joelle made sure that the brown-haired samurai wasn't looking at her and every time he would try and glance at her , she would play it as she were almost dead . The moment an opening was in her grasp , she took the opportunity to pause her surroundings to try and make a run for it , or at least hide , since her body felt very weak at the moment. Just as her ability stopped , the samurai felt strange for a slight moment before glancing back to see if his target was there , but she wasn't. ->"HUH?! What happened where did she go?!?!" He thought aloud. ->"Lee ? What's going on? " ->"We'll talk later , I need to find her." He didn't even waste time to explain , since he had to find her , it seems like he was wrong , there was still some fight in that girl , but he was certain that she won't last long with the amount of blood she had lost already.

As much as Joelle didn't want to panic she was , she couldn't get the amount of thoughts that were running through her head , but she knew she couldn't give up just yet , she knew well enough that this wasn't going to be easy and the amount of things to come weren't going to throw flowers at her gently either. A small sigh left her lips as she managed to hide herself behind a big chunk of platform that was caused from the battle they had earlier. She could feel her heart in her ears , the more she heard footsteps coming closer and looking around every corners , the more she felt the tension rising in her head . Joelle had to think of something quick because she was certain that he was going to find her sooner or later if she would remain in the same spot. She waited till the time was right to use her ability once more so she could try and hide behind something else . Lee felt this strange sensation in his stomach once again as if something might of happened or he just spaced out , he couldn't quite explain it to himself , but he figured it might either be the girl playing strange tricks on him , or was there someone else around ? He shook his head trying to focus on finding the girl , he had no time to waste , because his targets were out there somewhere with the arrow and if they manage to get away with it... lets just say that their boss will be 'very disappointed.' The last thing Lee wanted to think of what might happen if their mission was a failure . Joelle however was trying to think of a possible way to get out of this situation , she leaned against a nearby wall holding the side of her face , breathing heavy as she was trying to keep herself steady to not fall over and blow her cover . Having only one eye as your guide was very hard , she had to look around extra to make sure she wasn't being followed . The moment she thought that he was going to find her and it's going to be the end for Joelle , she saw something in the distance it shined like a star.. it shined like the opportunity she was looking for... it was a garage that seemed to be working night shifts , perhaps she can could find shelter there for the short period until the individual that was following her left , but also an opportunity that there might be something in there that could help her out of this mess. She decided to go for it and hopefully everything will work in her favor , the moment she approached the lighted place she saw someone inside they looked like they were working on a motorcycle that had just arrive not so long ago. The man who was in there gasped in horror the moment he saw a woman with half her face injured and blood dripping from various of places. The man offered her his aid , but she had no time to waste , she was certain that samurai was on her tail and she had to think of something quick . Trying to avoid further questions and more conflict from the man that was bombarding her with them , she used her ability to put him to sleep and place him on the side. ->" I can't risk your life... but I'll be taking this..." She thought aloud to herself as she climbed on top of the motorcycle , it seemed like it was in pretty good shape and lucky for her the keys were right where she wanted them to be. She took only just a short moment to start the motorcycle , clicking on a small button on the side of the wall so the door of the garage could go up further , however unlucky for her , she noticed a familiar face closing in , she had no time to waste , Joelle started the engine and took off going past the samurai. Lee looked so surprised he didn't know what just happened. ->"HOW IS SHE STILL ALIVE?!" He yelled to himself , as he tried to send an electricity strike towards her to ruin the engine of the motorcycle , but unlucky for Lee , this time he missed. He cursed under his breath annoyed by the fact that this red-haired woman had managed to escape , it seems like he had underestimated her completely and she had gotten the better of him. The samurai clenched his sword holding grasp tighter as he reached his hand up towards the

earpiece that was in his ear.

->" What's your Status Lee? What happened? " The voice asked , as Lee just gritted his teeth annoyed by the fact that he had let his target run away. ->" My target escaped ... " ->" Ah so it seems... but don't worry , I'll be dealing with her , she can't run away forever and besides I am certain that she will lead us straight to where the arrow is , so your effort wasn't in vain. " The man spoke , as Lee just sighed , one thing was for sure he wasn't going to stand around and drown in self pity that his target escape and he was going to go after her one way or another.

Joelle felt so exhausted from all that was happening currently , but she had to try and focus on the road ahead of her , since her one eye was only functional at the moment and it was hard to keep track of everything , she felt slightly calmer that she was away from that place , but wasn't going to put her guard down just yet , because by the looks of it... a storm might be coming her way... the only thing that kept her going was the hope of Jinsei and the rest of her crew catching the signal which she had sent...

- The Encounter -

->“ Where do you think you’re going.... ?“ ( Previous Part )

Joe began to feel the sudden tension from the whole situation , it seems like she was cornered and there was no other way out but to fight... or at least try and buy herself some time until she manages to escape , but by the looks of it it seemed like she was going to stay for a while. The atmosphere felt intense , she could feel her chest get heavy by the moment . 'Seems like someone got cranky because he didn't get the chance to dance...' she humored to herself to at least try and ease the whole feeling , but it was not helping , she could feel the tension in the air rise by every second. The tall tan man paused himself for a moment as he held his battle stance however. ->"I'll give you a chance , either you give me the Arrow and leave with minimum damage , or don't give me the arrow and I won't be responsible what happens to you next. " He stated out his condition , plain and simple. But he was not giving Joe any sort of escape in the matter . Surely she managed to fool most of them that it seemed like she had gotten the arrow , but luckily she managed to play it out precisely to make sure to give the arrow to Jinsei before they took their separate ways.

Joe was determined to use her stand abilities while no one was around so she could make herself an escape route with minimum conflicts and encounters , but it seems like that was not happening. Joe sighed quietly to herself as she prepared herself for the worst to come.

->"Sorry , I don't think I'll be taking any of those choices."

Joe didn't want to seem cocky about the situation , but she had to find it a way around it or at least try to , she was still undercover and showing any of her abilities might expose her and might put her crew in danger . Perhaps she could use Time for this one and try and avoid the whole battle but something felt strange... she couldn't feel the presence of her stand... it almost felt like something or someone was blocking it. 'Oh great... was this part of his ability...?! ' a thought crossed her mind , however she was far from it , it seemed someone else had came over to observed their little fight , or at least try and aid from the side lines while it all went down. Joe felt how her breathing began to feel a bit heavy and the air around her felt cold. The man just stood there with a serious expression on his face, as lightning began to chain through his sword once again. ->" Alright then , have it your way." Was the last thing he said before he flashed , Joe felt like she had no time to even blink before she felt him right behind her 'OH NO!' she heard her voice echo in her mind , if she didn't think of something real quick she was going to end up being chopped up like sushi , she couldn't use her stand ability so she had one other option , the moment she saw the blade fly right towards her , the bone blade on her side spiked as she reached over and blocked his attack , feeling the sudden sting of the electricity going through her blade making a 'clank' sound the moment it made contact. The sudden vibrations that suddenly went down her arm... they felt so familiar , as if she had felt this strange sensation before... has she encountered it before..? in all honesty now was not the right time to think about it too deeply , she had to defend herself and she had to think fast. The red-haired Chinese woman could see the man smirk . ->"Lucky block , but can you keep up?? " The smirk on the brown-haired samurai widened as he did another strike , only to be blocked again but barely. In all honest Joe didn't know how many hits she might take until his stand ability finally makes contact with her skin and causes her serious damage. She had to stay focused and try her best to get out of this situation ... somehow ... The samurai was not giving up however , each blow he threw in towards her was stronger than the previous and it was getting harder and harder to block , Joe had gotten many small cuts upon her arms as she continued to block each attack and try and strike back , but it was getting more and more difficult with each strike back. The fight went back and forth for a while , they exchanged a few words here and there to mark down their battle . The brown-haired samurai managed to get the upper hand however , he managed cause a good enough distraction from his surroundings to cause the girl to lose her focus and try and defend herself against the platform that was heading her way. Joe felt the pressure getting to her , she felt like the space around her was getting smaller and smaller and soon she wouldn't have much room to avoid his attacks and strike back and by the looks of it he had managed to create enough of a distraction for her to turn her back away for just a split second and try and protect herself from the upcoming fling platform that was heading her way , giving him the opening he was waiting for.

->"NOT THIS TIME!!!" The brown-haired samurai yelled with confidence as his opening finally came , the moment he saw the little opportunity his katana swung right towards her face. Joe began to feel her heart beat in her head the moment a small chunk of platform had managed to hit her , making her lose her focus even further . Just the second she was about to throw her arm forward and try and block his attack with her bone blade , it missed by an inch... and that inch was fatal. The edge tip of the man's katana had managed to strike a blow and that blow began to flow down her face. The red-haired woman began to feel the sudden pulsing in her left eye the moment she felt the sudden cold steel against her face , luckily for Joe she managed to jump back just the slightest for her to avoid the full blow that was coming her way , only getting away with a scratch ... but it seems like that scratch was very fatal . Blood began to flow down her face as she felt the stings of his ability pulse everywhere , making her ears ring enabling her to hear any of the surroundings around her , Joe began to lose her balance and her vision began to get blurry , she started to swing back and forth slowly losing consciousness .

What was going to happen next... was this going to be the end....?

- The Plan begins  -

After the many strange encounters Jun had came across , their plan was finally starting to play out. Since the whole trade off began shortly after she was done dealing with most. Everyone had gotten to their position , they had merely a few minutes to get their target because things will go downhill , if they waste time to make it seem like the power would be gone for a longer while , they are gonna grow even further suspicious about the whole thing... this place was crawling with big companies and mafia bosses... Jun had to keep herself together and act rationally and logically so their mission would be a success . She had managed to finally calm herself down after the amount of headache she had to deal with , eventually after a few items that passed for offer... finally their target had came in line next.

“We are ready to start the operation... don’t do anything stupid .. keep it calm and wait for the proper timing , make sure to keep your guard up at all costs... we are in a big danger zone..“ a voice spoke to her in her ear , in all honesty this made her even more nervous than before.. it was not helping . Sometimes Rei had the worst speeches .. but regardless he was right.. they had to be careful and they had to act quick they were prepared.

Jun nodded to herself as the man on the stage had finally revealed a specific arrow , the same arrow they were after... in all honesty for some odd reason the sight of it made Jun feel a bit uneasy...for a second there she felt like she gotten a strange ‘Deja Vu’ feeling to it.. but she decided to ignore it. Must be the fact that the amount of people she talked to  were starting to get in her head... especially that one woman who she encountered not so long.. for a second there she took herself out of focus as she felt herself pull up the card she had given her earlier.. ‘..I can make your wish come true..’ was written on the card with a very specific detail to it , the moment she felt herself out of focus she shook her head and frowned. ‘This is no time for sidetracking ... I need to focus. ’ a thought crossed her mind . 

15 Minutes had passed and nothing was happening , people were just trying to top each other off to see who will get their hands on it first.. Jun was beginning to feel a slight pinch anxious upon what’s going on. By the looks of it they had a hard time dealing with certain devices and in general with the light system. 

At this point she had to buy her team some time for them to manage to deal with the lights in the whole room , she began to shout out loud upon offers upon the arrow herself , but of course someone else always topped her with another offer. Eventually after a certain period of time , it seem that they had finally hit it. The moment the lights turned off , everyone gasped wondering what happened. Jun was hearing comments from everywhere , she felt a slight relief the moment the lights turned off it seemed like their plan was ready to take action. Jinsei had a 4 minutes to obtain the target , which he managed to , but for their misfortune the light were fixed after the 3rd minute.

“SHIT..!! “ Rei thought to himself from his position as some managed to catch a glimpse of the man who had caught the arrow in his grasp . ‘This is not good! We need to get out of here now!!‘ he almost shouted it into each one of their communication devices .

The situation got complicated even more , Jun had thought upon trying to scream or something to catch their attention on her , but it was no good , some had managed to catch a glimpse of Jinsei and went after him. 

From the sidelines however someone was observing.. and that someone had a very specific interest in his little ‘target from earlier’. The dusty-blonde haired man turned to his friend and with a soothing tone he said to his comrade . 

->“I think it’s your turn to dance , Lee. It seems like our little fire flower is looking for a partner.”

He humored with a very devious chuckle , the man next to him irritated as ever from his commentary , he did not say a word to him and began to walk out.

Joe and Jinsei had managed to caught each other in one of the long hallways , however they had to make their separate ways , she made it seem like she got the arrow so the attention was brought on her , she could easily escape with her own power.. but little did Joe knew she was about to encounter trouble...

The moment she stepped outside and told Jinsei for her signal as they separated , Joe had stumped upon someone.. and that someone meant big trouble... 

The man stepped out of the shadows as he pulled out a sword that began to glow light yellow.. it almost felt like there was lightning going through it... and by the looks of it her gut was right about it too...

->”I’m cut off , I might be a little la-...!“

She was suddenly interrupted by her device basically exploding in her ear , making her throw it immediately . ‘Ouch...‘ she groaned quietly to herself as she finally darted her full attention towards the man that was standing in front of her.

With a cold expression on his face he approached the woman and directed his sword towards her .

->“ Where do you think you’re going.... ?“
