Imagine this: Xray and Vav but Xray is replaced by Rimmy Tim with no explanation and now its just the lads running around fighting crime.
I started this to celebrate reaching 100 followers... Lets just say that it never got done. And might never be. So at 326 followers, here’s an unfinished picture of the XRay and Vav gang saying ‘Thanks!’

More to Lose
DeathRay had run the town for a while now. Everyone feared the name. Mogar did what he could but he could only do so much. Vav did the hero work left over. Helping cats out of trees and carrying an old woman's groceries. On this day he was helping an old lady cross the road when a familiar face came into view. The young boy spoke excitedly, though it was almost a front now.
DragonFace continued to follow Vav around, even when XRay left. Vav didn't do much to stop him. There wasn't much danger in what he did now. And sometimes he needed the helping hand. So he stood waiting for the light to change, holding the woman's hand and DragonFace stood across the road waving. A large truck drove by blocking the view and when it had passed his heart seemed to stop. Behind DragonFace stood none other than DeathRay himself. The figure smiles, a hand on the boy's shoulder. Vav couldn't recall later what was said. What he remembered was the look on the boys face as the cape came around him. And they were gone. Vav was left standing alone, the woman having hurried away from the scene.
Vav wasn't sure what else to do. So he headed to the police station. He knew they couldn't do much but maybe if he put out a missing persons report someone would find him. He got funny looks though when he said DragonFace, what was the kids real name? Luckily the restraining order had such information on it. Kerry Shawcross was the kids name. Something so... normal.
He was underage so his parents names should be on the form. But when he looked he found the section blank. Kerry had no parents, only a legal guardian. Vav wrote down the name and address figuring he'd break the news. His heart sank, he knew what it felt like to lose someone.
Arriving at the rather large house he rings the doorbell. It took a few minutes before the door is opened. The annoyed expression on the mans face quickly turned to surprise. “Vav! What are you doing here? How did you find me.” XRay stared back in shock.
“Mad King!” He exclaims. The man standing in front of him was in no doubt his enemy. He even wore the crown. “Y-you're Ryan Haywood?” The Mad King scowls. “How did you find that name?” He hadn't used that name in a long time.
Vav narrows his eyes. “You're Dragonface's- uh, Kerry's guardian?” The Mad King glared at him. “What happened? Where is he?”
Vav looks away a moment before looking back at the Mad King. “He's gone. DeathRay took him.”
The Mad King bowed before no one. But now he found himself on his knees, face in his hands. He'd thought he lost it all, in the asylum. His power, position, reputation. But he was wrong. He'd taken for granted what mattered most. And now, he was gone.
Just an idea
DeathRay
XRay kicks everyone out of his basement. He doesn't leave for a few days until his mom makes him go outside. He walks around town, ducking his head to avoid being recognized. People snicker and laugh at him. Pointing. Laughing, laughing, laughing. It was so loud! He ducks into a building to escape it. He looks around, recognizing Monarch Labs. Unsure of where he was going he heads up the elevator, meeting the Mad King.
It'd been a week or so since XRay had left and Vav was attempting to be a hero on his own. He was only able to do the small tasks the Mogar left behind. Rescuing kittens from trees. Mad King had been laying low since the town meeting. He was handing another cat to a young girl when a commotion broke out nearby.
A sillouette stood on top of the tipped over bus. Watching as the prisoners ran past. His cape blowing in the wind. Vav yells and the figure turns. A pitch black suit and tophat clad the slender frame. A white mask covered the eyes. The figure smirks and tips his hat. “Well if it isn't the cities /Hero/.” he mocks the other. Vav attempts to stop him but it's no use, the man blasting him with lasers. When the prisoners escaped the man jumps down and stood in front of Vav, laying on the ground.
“Who are you?!” Vav yells at the man. The man just laughs and pulls a rose from his jacket, holding it out to the other. “DeathRay” The man responds, and drops the rose onto Vav. He then turns swoops his cape, disappearing.
The King's Mistake
DeathRay was a huge success. He lacked the morals Mogar had and would commit any crime asked of him. Then he started acting without orders. Gaining a reputaion more infamous that the King had in his hayday. It provided excellent cover for the MadKings own evil doings.
But it wasn't all going to plan. DeathRay started acting out against the King. Deciding what he would and would not do. Taking the earnings for himself. He seemed to be enjoying being a villain a bit too much.
So the Mad King attempted to put him in his place. But DeathRay no longer needed the Mad King. He went off on his own. He became stronger without anyone holding him back. He was the villain this city deserved. Spreading fear among the citizens that had once laughed at him.
The Mad King now had an enemy. So he tried to stop DeathRay. Even with Mogar he wasn't strong enough. The Mad King had created a villain he couldn't control. He couldn't stop. So the Mad King stoops to a level he never thought he'd reach. He asked Vav for help. Which meant telling Vav the truth. Who DeathRay really was. So he told Vav what he'd done to his friend. How XRay had turned into DeathRay.
The King's game had been won by the man he'd played. And the pieces were falling around him.
