Just Who Is This Ninja In Green?

     Lie Ren right away is given a personality of quiet and serious and total bad ass, and just looking at Fuzzyredpants' cosplay of him you can really get that feel. Their favorite memory of this cosplay were the photo shoots themselves that they got to be a part of which they always had fun experiences at. They had gotten to idea to cosplay as Lie Ren when their friend mentioned that she had wanted to cosplay as Nora. Loving the RWBY series they wanted to be her Lie Ren and with a lot of love and respect for Monty's work it inspired them to cosplay him even more. Once a friend of theirs caught wind of the JNPR cosplay duo they immediately wanted to be Jaune. Three quarters of the way there, Fuzzy asked their sister to cosplay Pyrrha as well so that then they could have the full group all together. The photo shoot was a great experience for all of them and Fuzzy sadly wishes that they had more opportunities to wear the cosplay then just in photo shoots. They really love the RWBY fandom and being a part of the community and they say its one of the more fun times they have when they get to do things all together.      The cosplay building itself they put a lot of work into which was actually pretty shocking. Their sister being a busy college student didn't have the time to make the cosplay herself so on top of already having ot make a Lie Ren cosplay there was also Pyrrhas armor and such. What was the most shocking was that they entire cosplay was actually hand sewed together and had no use of a sewing machine. The hardest part they mentioned was trying to get the black and gold trim and swirls right, but at the same time it was also the part they thought came out the best. It can be really shocking sometimes hearing the lengths people go to finish their cosplays. Fuzzy spent two days without sleep before the photo shoot trying to finish the cosplays and also had to visit three different Joann's stores around their area to get all the gold trim they needed. Overall the cosplay and JNPR group came out so well and I'm so glad they were alright with being featured. They all did such an amazing job and I hope to see more of their work in the future.

Character: Dragonface

Just Who Is This Stalkerish Hero?

     Dragonface the super stalker character of X-Ray and Vav was amazingly cosplayed here by Katelyn who also likes to go by Edgar. She had gotten into Rooster Teeth about two or three years ago when she came across the video of Ray in a cage on Tumblr and from there slowly submerged themselves into the Rooster Teeth fandom. Katelyn's original cosplay plans for NYCC wasn't originally Dragonface but with two cosplays they fell through she decided to finish up her Dragonface cosplay and personally I'm glad she did. For being such a simple cosplay, they put al ot more effort into it then expected. Not only had she finished the entire outfit and make it look on point may I add, but she also went out of her way making the Reality Augmenting Journal with the actual fan fiction from the episode within it. And she had a little juice box that had looked like the Monarch Farm Super Milk container from the episode as well. The best memory they had shared was while going by the RT booth their Dragonface cosplay had caught the eyes of Kerry, Lindsay, Miles, and Barbara and they fangirled over it a little. Honestly I could see why they would because this cosplay is on point in my opinion and I really hope to see more from Katelyn more in the future.

Just Who Is This Snow Queen?

    Weiss in the RWBY series gives off the snooty proper girl vibe, and Sara here also known as Cos-Paca does an amazing job at pulling off that look in her Weiss cosplay. Cos-Paca has been a long time cosplayer and loved doing it for a good while. When Rooster Teeth was first releasing the original sketches and designs for RWBY she had come across the design for Weiss and instantly fell in love with it. It wasn't until a whole year later that she finally sat down and told herself that she was gonna make this Weiss cosplay. She had marathoned the entire series and fell in love with the style of the art and just loved how all the characters interacted with each other. One big thing to Cos-Paca is the choices in fabric she makes and with this cosplay she spent tons of time going through Weiss's design and looking at other cosplayers to figure out how she was gonna make her Weiss cosplay.      Looking at the designs over and over she had decided to use some silks, organza, and satin's for the cosplay. The jacket for the cosplay was made with the silk and satin's and the tear drops at the end of the sleeves were made with bits of saudering iron. The ends of the sleeves I thought were done in an interesting way where glue was used in a way to hold some parts together so that it wouldn't have to have all the stitches in it.  One really cool feature she had to the cosplay was she made the gradient on Weiss's outfit herself by spraying it with a light layer of blue fabric paint a little at a time to get her gradient. And with the bodice she had added plastic boning into it so that it wouldn't bunch up and she wouldn't need straps to hold it up all day either. Overall I gotta say I really love how her Weiss design came out and I love how her photo shoot came out as well.

Just Who Is This Red Cybrog?

     Simmons out of all the Red's and Blue's seems to be one of the more serious ones but at the same time the more awkward. Redead Red is the amazing cosplayer in this photo who pulled off an amazing cyborg Simmons from Red vs. Blue. Redead Red had first heard about Rooster Teeth and everything and was slightly into it around 2004 - 2005, but thinking that RvB was mainly for Halo fans she never really got into it. But now jumping forward a few years, in 2013 she had come across Michael's Surgeon Simulator Rage Quit and fell in love. Quickly it went from that to discovering RTAA and then the rest was history as she fell deeper into the Rooster Teeth Fandom. She had chosen to cosplay Simmons because she him to be her favorite out of all the Red Team. Being a Red of course she had to cosplay him because, well you know, the Blues can suck it. She loved his development throughout the years of RvB, even though he continues to be a suck up she loved how much he had grown.      Red's original plans for this cosplay were in 2014 when she wanted to wear it fro PAX 2014. But only having the helmet done at the time and due to tons of complications and busy schedules she wasn't able to get it all done until PAX 2015. This happens to a lot of cosplayers and sometimes time frames are just to small to workout, but that's also a plus because then you get more time to focus on your cosplay. She did such an amazing job on her Simmons armor, and even though she was bummed out that it was missing the armored gloves and boots it still came out really nice. Even though she felt like her cosplay wasn't complete she still pulled off an amazing Simmons and she was happy with how it came out and felt like she learned a lot when it came to building a cosplay like this. I really love how her Simmons came out and especially love the cyborg makeup she did as well. I cant wait to see a picture of the entire cosplay with the gloves and boots when its finished.

Just Who Is This Goofy Girl?

     Nora right off the you can just tell is a lovable goofy character and in all honesty Jamie also known as Little Lord pulled her off very well through her cosplay and personality. Jamie has been cosplaying for about 6 years in total but didn't get into cosplaying characters from Rooster Teeth until about 3 years ago. She had known about Rooster Teeth a little bit but it wasn't until a good friend of theirs got them to watch some Minecraft Let's Plays that she really started getting into it. From there her interest in Rooster Teeth and her love for the community began. It was amazing to see how much someone could love her community so much yet be one member out of thousands. Through her little interview she went on and on about her love for the community and just devotion to them. You can really tell someones kindness and commitment to others through the way she talks about them and that's exactly what she did. She's made so many friends through the Rooster Teeth Community and says that she would do almost anything for them.      Her Rooster Teeth Cosplay habits started out with Michael’s Minecraft skin and many different alterations to the design itself. From there it went into the Fake AH Crew, Fem! Vav, Yang, Nora, and so many more characters. Hopefully there will be another article about some of her other cosplays but at the moment this Nora cosplay with both her main and school outfit are just amazing. Nora herself has such a loving yet dorky feel to her and Jaime does such a good job at giving off that vibe in her Nora cosplay. Nora wasnt her first RWBY cosplay but loves it all the same and even though she has it on hold for some other cosplays that she has in progress she still tries to wear it every so often. Her cosplay just came out so amazing in my opinion and I cant wait to see what else she brings out and knowing a how much she loves Rooster Teeth and the community I'm sure shes gonna do a great job.

Just Who Is This Mouth Hanging Dork?

     Gavin Free in the GTAV let's play series has his character with his mouth hanging open and to be honest when I saw DakrOverlord's Cosplay of Fake AH Crew Gavin I couldn't stop laughing. DarkOverlord has been cosplaying since about 2010 and it has always been a huge part of their life. And with the combination of getting into Achievement Hunter and RvB which dragged them down into the Rooster Teeth fandom, here they are now cosplaying Gavin. They first started out a fan of Achievement Hunter and not really thinking they would like RvB, they quickly got sucked in. It Then went from there getting more into a lot more of Rooster Teeth's content like RWBY and the RT Shorts. They love being able to cosplay Gavin not only in his GTA character but also his Minecraft creeper skin because of how much they feel like they can connect to the cosplay. Being comfortable while wearing a cosplay is important and they had all the more fun being Gavin knowing that they feel like they are enthusiastic and more of an action taker then a thinker kind of like Gavin Is.      The cosplay itself I just gotta say I really love because of this one photo. Its got the messy hair, the cool dude shades, and then just that funny looking hung open mouth. This cosplay itself is really important to DarkOverlord because of the fact that they feel like they belong to a family when they wear it. They are part of a Fake-AH Crew blog where they act as Gavins GTA persona and answer questions with its other members. It's a really cool thing knowing that you can cosplay and make funny tumblr posts while being part of a big family with all your friends who are cosplaying all together for the same reason. Their favorite memory while being part of the RT fandom was getting the chance to meet Gavin and all the other achievement hunters while at RTX. This cosplay is just so funny and very well done, I hope everyone enjoyed seeing it as much as I did and hopefully we can see some more cosplays from DarkOverlord soon.

Just Who Is This Well Dressed Puerto Rican?

     Ray Narvaez Jr. probably one of the more quiet of the Achievement Hunters in my opinion but also Mr. Suave was cosplayed by Manna here, also known as Dork-Overlord. They cosplayed Ray here in a Tuxedo Mask Rose Ray version based off of a lot of the designs you can find of him on tumblr in his Minecraft skin and such. They had originally gotten into Achievement Hunter through their friend Sidero. From there they quickly went from just Achievement Hunter to all of Rooster Teeth also having cosplayed Agent Washington from RvB and Yang Xaio Long from RWBY. Their Ray cosplay itself is one of their favorites though because not only is it a well designed cosplayed but they find it comfy enough to where they use it as down time cosplay for almost every con they attend. One of the really cool things they do while being in the RT fandom and this cosplay is whenever a RT community day comes close to a convention they go around passing out handmade ribbons to any other RT cosplayers or just fans wearing RT merch. But their favorite memory overall was the actual photo shoot from the picture provided above. They had so much fun during it that now they try to make it a yearly thing to do a new and improved photo shoot.      Their cosplay itself I personally kind of fell in love with because I always love a well done Ray cosplay. Their friend Sidero and them got the idea to cosplay Ray and Ryan together for a convention and so the preparations began. I always love hearing about how cosplayers in a way save money and actually use resources they already have to make their cosplays and that's actually just what they did. Manna luckily already have a tux to wear for the main part of the outfit and a few other accessories already around the house that they had to complete it. But the biggest thing they made themselves which was actually only the second thing they ever sewn was the cape. And man I gotta say they I really do love that cape and thought it came out amazing. Their Ray cosplay overall though I had to say came out really spot on and I loved being able to chat with them to learn about them some more. Hopefully we will see some more cosplays from them soon.

Who Is This Green Dork?

     Gavin one of the weirdest members of Achievement Hunter was pulled off wonderfully by the amazing cosplayer Duo here. Duo started out as a big RvB fan when it was first coming out but slowly lost track of it over years. Recently though she has picked it back up and caught up in all the recent adventures. Getting deeper into the fandom she really got into Achievement Hunter and RWBY very quickly and continues to fall deeper and deeper into the fandom. Getting deeper into the fandom of course friends had to be and cosplays had to be done of all our lovable Achievement Hunter dorks. Her and her friends formed a small cosplay group called the Achievement Weenies as they made plans to cosplay the main six Achievement Hunters. Before the convention they debuted everything at happened, they sadly had to find a new Ray and Ryan for their Weenies group, but were lucky enough to find some new ones so they could all cosplay together.      Setting up plans for this group cosplay she originally wanted to be Ryan but the spot had already been taken so she was left with Gavin to be, but honestly I'm glad she did it because their Gavin cosplay came out amazing. I personally really love how their Gavin cosplay came out because of the fact that it's a pretty simple design with not to many super complicated parts that still really shows off the hard work put into it and allows the viewers to know its Gavin. They had styled the wig them-self and with a few shakes and tricks the wig was quickly given the poofy goofball Gavin look. The biggest thing out of this whole group and everyone though is the amazing Tower of Pimps they built themselves. I really think that having that tower really finished off their cosplays and photo shoot all together. Duo has plans to wear Gavin more often but at the moment wants to work on some new RWBY and RvB cosplays soon and then hop back to Gavin again later. I can't wait to see what they pump out next.

Just Who Is This Mysterious Faunus?

     Blake Belladonna always seemed like the most serious but quiet character to me. And personally I feel that in this one photo Lady Aurora pulled that quiet, serious, but still super cute look off very well. Lady Aurora had been cosplaying since around 2006, but began to get serious about it only recently in 2014. She got into the fandom through the trailers and first two episodes of RWBY. It was about all it took to drive her in deeper and deeper into the RWBY fandom. Its kinda interesting though how one cosplay can have an effect on someones life. She feels that Blake saved her in a way from quitting cosplay. She was just so in love with the cosplays and character itself that it inspired her to keep cosplaying and gave her plenty of wonderful memories with tons of other RWBY fans. One of her favorite memories from being a part of the RWBY RT fandom was getting the chance to meet Monty Oum himself while at a meetup.

     Blake is one of Lady Aurora’s favorite cosplays not only because it was one that saved her in a way and brought her back into cosplay but also because it allows her to be a major dork with her friend. The tow of them try to cosplay anything they can Blake whether its canon or some kind of fan art. The cosplay itself she says took about 24 hours or so to make and I gotta say she must have some skill to make such a beautiful cosplay that quickly. The weapon on the other hand must have driven her insane if she had forgotten how long it took her to make, but overall looks amazing. Using overall for the twentieth I just gotta say i really love how her cosplay came out. It just looks like it fits so nicely and looking at some of her other Blake cosplays she really does an amazing job at cosplaying her and pulling off the mysterious but adorable look.

Just Who Are These Heroes...?

     X-Ray and Vav the dynamic duo of dorks. Blair cosplaying as a Female Vav and her friend Geggs as Female X-Ray make an amazing pair of crime fighting friends. These two have been cosplaying together since 2010 and debuted their RT cosplays together at Otakon in 2014 as Fem Versions of X-Ray & Vav. Geggs was into Rooster Teeth way before Blair and around 2013 Blair caught an interest in Rooster Teeth as she watched Geggs go around in her X-Ray cosplay handing out roses. Taking an interest in Geggs enjoyment of Rooster Teeth she began to watch some content and was then hooked and ready to be Geggs Vav. 

     They came up with idea to be Female versions of X-Ray and Vav and in my opinion they did an amazing job at it. Due to the fact that being in Baltimore in summer was gonna be hot, they of course had to incorporate some skirts into the mix to female it up and or course prevent a heat stroke or something. Geggs for the most part already had their costume done and ready to go but for Blair it was a whole new experience. This was her first time making an entire costume from scratch and styling a wig, but to be honest she did an amazing job and in all honestly I thought she had some crazy experience prior to this.  They showed these amazing cosplays off at Otakon in 2014 and even got the chance to be in an AHWU outro by chance. These two did an amazing job at portraying some of the dorkiest heroes ever and have had some of the best memories together in their cosplays and personally I hope to see a lot more of them in the future.

Just Who Is This Mysterious Faunus...?

          This amazing Sun Wukong cosplay was done by Holly also known as ImpalaMoose. Personally a huge fan of RWBY, Sun is one of the best characters in my opinion and Holly pulled off Sun so well in my opinion. Just from looking at her cosplay I can tell a lot of hard work was put into just by the look of that wig especially. Overall I just gotta say I'm in love with this cosplay and she does such a good job at wearing it.

          Holly had gotten into Rooster Teeth through Michael's Rage Quit videos which happened to around the same time she was beginning to get into Red vs. Blue. Getting more into the community she did cosplays such as this Sun cosplay and to my my knowledge I'm not to sure how many more but has had lineups completely RT dedicated. Being a part of the community more and more she is also a part of a cosplay group known as Cray Dust. She is currently going to school for game design and animation and uses RWBY as one of her big inspirations and keeps her pumped about her studies overall. A funny story she shared with me was that as she cosplayed Sun for the first time and went for a shoot, she fell out of the tree she was in and  since then has made an effort to try and be in a tree for all of her other Sun shoots.

Character: X-Ray

Just Who Is This Parkour Master...?

          Overall I just don't know where to begin with this amazing X-Ray cosplayer. Michael is my very first submitter for this page and I'm so happy to be having someone be interested in my idea. The X-Ray design from the first episode overall is a pretty simple costume but looks amazing if it's done properly and he did such a good job on it. He had used his actual hair for this cosplay which in my opinion looks amazing. Making it simple and still work well for the cosplay were his glasses, which were ones he actually uses and it’s cool because then the glasses actually have the lenses in them. And of course who cant deny the look of that nice man scruff applied with some spirit gum. 

          Michael had joined into the Rooster Teeth fandom about a year and a half ago when his cousin introduced him to the surgeon simulator lets play. He was reluctant at first to enjoy it and just watched it to get it over it. But as they watched more and more videos slowly getting into the Minecraft Let's Plays and RWBY he found himself pretty interested. It wasn't until the point where he was actually by himself that he felt the urge to check out more of the RT content and fell in love with it through the RvB series and RT Live events. Getting into the fandom more he is pretty fond of Ray from the Achievement Hunters and always found him to be his favorite. When they announced X-Ray & Vav he just felt like he needed to cosplay him and so he did just so. Begin in the RT fandom has been a great experience for him, allowing him to make so many new friends and open up tons of cosplans like the full super suit X-Ray which he will hopefully be finishing for a future convention.
