“I’m so sorry-I didn’t mean to do that” Margery said quickly as her widened in alarm.

✌ What is the easiest aspect of playing this muse?
There are two things that I find easy about writing as Edward. First being, is that a lot of historians are on separate sides on how they perceive him to have been as a King and as a man. So it allows me to form my own opinions and give me more room to discover how I think he would be, how he’d look at things, how he’d behave, how he’d interact and so on. While he was an actual historical figure, a real person, I have more room to wiggle with how I write him. And the second thing is, the first aspect of him that sort of came to me, was how he reacts to people. What I mean, he’s very perceptive and he acts different around different people because he either trusts them or not, or thinks they’re good and honorable or not, if any of this makes sense. Also he’s very conflicted. I think the quote; “The road to hell is paved with good intentions” is very telling of who he is as King and as a man.

"No law." Unfortunately.
She would rather shake the hand free of her shoulder, but he seemed determined to keep it firmly in place.
"Precisely."
It wasn't as if the damn woman needed one, intimacy seemed to be her biggest fear and she went out of her way to avoid it. Whether it be of a physical or emotional nature. The latter suited him just fine.
The former was irritating.
"I only came to tell you something. I go out of my way to make sure I don't spook you by tapping your shoulder and I get barked at."
Edmund frowned.
"I don't even remember what it was now. You've made me forget."
"Don’t touch me."
A raised eyebrow and a cool glare met the woman’s words. The hand that was now resting on her shoulder remained unmoved, despite the command. No, no, not ‘command’… Demand.
He was the king and she was only the queen, after all.
"I’m sorry… Is there a law against a man touching his wife?”
It wasn’t as if he had hurt her in any way. Simply came up behind her and laid a hand on her shoulder. And this was how he was greeted? Typical. They had might as well not even been married.
"Not that you act like a wife in the slightest."

"Mmmm...it would help if you climbed a bit faster," Rapunzel groaned and held tightly to her hair.
