It’s been quite some weeks since they’d first met and despite the cast still on his leg and arm, Yongguk only had to return to the hospital when he felt actual pain. He was allowed to go home, roam the streets as he wished and most importantly, meet up with her if he wanted to. And though he would have to sit at home for most part of the day, he couldn’t help but anticipate the evenings when she could finally find some time to get out and he finally saw her again. It felt weird, really. Yongguk had never been dependent on anybody and Hyuna wasn’t an exception and yet, seeing her would always lighten up his mood. No matter how many times he would trip that day, not in complete control of his limbs, or have his crutch fall down because of his thoughtlessness or watch the same old goddamn show for the fourth time that week because there was simply nothing he could do to escape boredom. Yongguk wasn’t used to sitting at home all day long and his friends were either out of town, working or simply not available. Oh, how he despised the ones who were busy spending time with their lovers to care about him although he couldn’t decide whether he really despised them or just felt jealous. He could only see his crush in the evening and also just for a short time since she would have to attend college the next morning. Ah, right. Yongguk finally admitted to himself that he was completely crushing on the young girl who saved his life. Somehow he knew it from the very beginning, yet couldn’t really allow himself to accept such rare fact. Dressed in a pair of black sweatpants jeans wouldn’t fit him as they would be too tight to dress his cast and a simple faded red shirt, he covered the latter with a gray hoodie. Atop of it, he wore a dark green bomber jacket which was slightly tighter around his left arm’s molded structure. The drastic weather change in the past weeks urged the demigod to dress a little bit warmer. Meeting the girl in front of the park they would always meet required him to take the bus and walk a little further but he didn’t mind at all, she was worth it. Quite honestly, Yongguk hated how helpless he was against his own emotions, a lovesick fool trapped by his affection for a girl who was probably too good to be true.
Watching her shiver ever so slightly, he couldn’t help but worry about her as he rid himself of his jacket to put it over her. The truth was, Yongguk had never been really affected by the cold air of the town, sharing his clothes with her would be no problem. Without much talk, he covered her shoulders with it, hoping to keep her a little bit warmer. “You should’ve dressed warmer, silly. Should I bring you home?” Before he even knew it, it was getting late and she probably had duties to do in the morning; unlike him of course.
