By some miracle Griffin didn’t snore when he was napping. There was no scientific reason behind it as it just was. So when Griffin woke himself up to the rays of the fading sun through the windows of his bedroom he thought he had woken himself up with a loud snore. His arms were snugged tight around Cyrus who was, thankfully, still asleep so that wasn’t the reason why he awoke first for a change. When he saw the man’s content expression as he slept after a successful hunt, Griffin smiled as he leaned down to place a gentle kiss against his cheek.

His hands were mindful of the other’s privacy, and sensitivity to keeping his shirt on and keeping Griffin’s hands from getting too close to his torso. Arms would wrap around him without the threat of fingers sneaking underneath. Whenever he felt Cyrus tense, Griffin would automatically adjust to make him more at ease... But even then Griffin would try to steal a kiss to the bottom of his neck or skin exposed at his shoulder as his shirt stretched from being twisted around his body all night.

“I think ...” Griffin said groggily as he kissed at Cyrus’s cheek again, “I think we slept the afternoon away. And I don’t think you moved one muscle the whole time,” The bear chuckled behind Cyrus as he settled himself back behind him, enjoying this one rare time that Griffin was the big spoon and Cyrus accepted this position. Strong, large hands rubbed along Cyrus’s bare arms as Griffin kissed and nuzzled at the top of his head affectionately.
