Don’t imagine the fight it took for Silver to get Jim to come out of his room the one he shared with Jas after Jasmine jumped ship. Don’t imagine Jim sCREAMING at Silver
“Don’t you get it?! She left! After all that, she just left without a word!” And he’s panting, tears welling in his eyes as his voice breaks because fuck it hurts!
“I wasn’t enough!” Again
Because Silver can almost hear that word following the young man’s sentence, he doesn’t have all the answers but he knows that there’s an important piece that they don’t have. Her reason. Because she has to have a reason, doesn’t she? It’s not in her to be this cruel, is it?
And he has to pick up the pieces for this boy, he has to tell him to push on and watches as he closes up again. Watches as a broken heart is buried and sworn never to be given away again.
At least not for five years.
That’s how long it takes Jim to find her--not that he’s looking anymore--and suddenly her reason is so amazingly clear in the form of a precious four year old girl with bright blue eyes to match her Daddy’s.
//See but no-- I really like the idea of Jas and Adam being set up in an arranged marriage before the curse and even though neither of them is particularly interested in being married to the other, they become good friends! He could even visit her after being cursed or she could visit him!
I just want them to be friends okay?! Jasmine needs more friends!
And I really like the idea of her coming to visit later with Jim (or any suitor really) and Adam takes it upon himself to be the protective older brother that Jas never had. And of course Jim doesn’t like Adam because he’s so much taller than him on principle but after some time spent it becomes very clear to both of them how much the other cares for Jasmine and how much said princess cares for both of them.
Imagine Adam giving Jim (or any suitor) his blessing, like--”you’ll never be good enough for her but for some reason she loves you”.

I doubt anyone will see this but--
If anyone knows and is in contact with Blue (the mun behind @xstarjunkie-blog && @seetheirsoul-a / @seetheirsoul) can you tell them that Avis wants to know if they’re okay? It’s been a couple years since we’ve talked and the last time I knew they weren’t in a good place. I just miss my friend and want to know how they’re doing.

All three of Jim and Jas’s children were born at the Benbow Inn with Sarah serving as midwife to all.

Jim panicked when Jasmine went into labor with their first son. Having been through a rather rough delivery with Amira, Jas knew that the whole ordeal was moving along rather well; Jim, however, was almost sure she was dying.
