He let a happy hum and giggle, gladly letting himself be peppered with kisses. Slobbery or not, they were from Deon; That made them the best kisses ever. Andrew’s arms wrapped around him, returning his affection with nuzzles to Deon’s neck and kisses along his jaw. “Mmm, it’s perfect now~.”

It looked like it was one of Deon’s days off... Which, in Andrew’s opinion, couldn’t have been timed any better. He’d just gotten back from a week-long call in Nevada, dealing with a particularly nasty group of spirits. (Ouija boards really had to be the work of a devil.)

“I spy with my little eye, something orange, salty, and wet,” he spoke up, once his boyfriend had passed by close enough. The wizard grinned when he was noticed, giving him a small wave from his spot on the boardwalk.

It was no Texas... But, man, was it good to be home.

cosmic incarnate, golden starlight has dimmed, hasn’t it? he was reduced to nothing once more. a tool like him didn’t deserve a choice in its wielder; a rabbit gone cat’s paw. the iron restraining him is nothing compared to the contrition that weighed him down. but he was useful, wasn’t he? he was serviceable, tools couldn’t be efficient if they were broken after all! that’s what mattered to him now. the sound of keys turning a lock snaps him from his thoughts. that’s right, as long as he was viable, he wouldn’t be thrown away- not again. that was what was promised, right?
