I need some advice here. These are my beloved #altrasuperior 2’s. I never had a problem with them but last two times I have worn them I got a blister on my right heel. No problem with the left foot. The lining in the heel area is getting ripped up but it is smooth to the touch. As I am running, I don’t feel the heel slipping. Maybe the scientists in white lab coats over at #altrarunning or #xtenex have an idea. I don’t want a new pair, I want these. We have been through tough times together and I can’t let a blister get between us. I figure they have another 3-5 years left. Let me know if you have any ideas. These are my #altralonepeak trail shoes. To be honest, I always preferred the #altrasuperior2 ‘s, which fit better. The Lone Peak’s seemed stiff and never fit well in the arch. The lesson? It’s not the shoes, it’s the laces. I changed to #xtenexlaces And this is a totally different shoe. Now I know what #altrarunning Was trying to do. The arch is very comfortable and my toes don’t slide around in the shoe. I am actually stunned by this. I am not affiliated with #xtenex In any way, their laces just work. (at Parker, Colorado)
