X Cosmo: I’m afraid I wouldn’t know… From what I was told of the war with Cascade, it lasted a very long time. Who knows how much native wildlife on Green Gate went extinct amongst the crossfire… and even if they survived that. The rise of the Metarex almost certainly sealed their fate…
What I was taught prioritized my survival, while some biology was taught for certain. Other natural aspects of our planet were not talked about at length. Perhaps it’s because it was too sad for my sister and/or the crew to talk about what was likely already far gone…
((Conclusion to a small thing with Charmy, as well as something that acknowledges that the term Seedrian was never an official term in Sonic X. We don't actually have an official term for them aside from 'Cosmo's species' or the 'Cosmo tribe'.
When you're searching for Cosmo, Cosmo the Seedrian is most often used in the tags on many websites to help differentiate her from say the Fairly Oddparents Cosmo or other uses of the term cosmo. The CHZ universe acknowledges it as it is canon for the sake of recognizability of the term. But it was never actually acknowledged in the X Universe Cosmo originated from))

*Cream and Vanilla run out*
X Cream: What’s going on?! Is that Charmy?!
X Vanilla: Oh my… Tails and Cosmo, what just happened?!
X Tails: Charmy found the source of the scent from your party! Seems like it was from Cosmo’s bloomed ears all along, and being so close to it made him act strange! He even scared Cosmo! I had to get him away from her!
X Cosmo: I didn’t want Charmy to get hurt… but Tails speaks the truth. I don’t know what just came over him!
X Vanilla: I see… I’ll call up Vector and Espio and let them pick up Charmy. In the meantime, you might want to find out what’s in Cosmo’s ears that made Charmy act up…
X Tails: Understood, Ms. Vanilla… Cosmo, please follow me to my lab. I’ll need to extract a sample of what’s producing the scent and find out why it caused Charmy to act so strangely!
X Cosmo: O-o-ok, Tails…
((Been a while since the last Xtra Miles, I apologize. I promise I'm still quite keen to continue having X Tails and Cosmo appear and I have plans for them. It's just Crossworlds fever definitely took priority with the rival interactions plus the initially fast time between Festivals. But as they slow down, that leaves a little more room for them))

'Dear Chris,
If you are reading this, this is from your friends from the parallel Earth! And we've successfully sent a letter back to you by using the Master Emerald to mail you this letter through the same method in which your family sent the items that the Chaotix brought to the Blue Typhoon!
We hope you are doing well back home and we all miss you very much. And do not worry, we do not think less of you for leaving without a goodbye. We know Eggman's rocket had a limited time frame for you to get back home. So we understand completely.
We also have some great news to share! Cosmo's alive! The full story is too long for this letter. But in short, Sonic and Shadow's Chaos Regeneration worked by preserving her in the form of a seed. And a new friend we met named Blaze was able to speed up her regeneration using an ability called Solar Phoenix!
We swiftly held a party after her return, and a copy of the photo we took of everyone there should be attached to this letter. Rest assured, we are all grateful that Cosmo made it through after all. And I hope the proof she's back with the attached photo will be welcome news to you as well.
If you can, please try to write us back and tell us if you got home safely, became your adult self again, and maybe a tidbit on how your friends and family are doing! We'll always miss seeing everyone back there in-person, but being pen pals like this will at least allow us to catch up every now and then!

((The end of Cosmic Rush hinted at some heightened senses for X Cosmo while under sunlight to the point that her body sleepwalked towards the sunlight after the first night of her return. Potentially meaning some interesting discoveries for Tails and Cosmo to find out over time))
((Personally I think Cosmo would have probably gotten along most with Ella, especially together with Cream. I've always imagined in an AU where Cosmo was part of the Sonic X cast from the beginning there would have been a silly scene where Cosmo hides in the Thorndyke's mansion garden for the early episodes and she gets watered by Ella))
((Is it worth mentioning how funny it is that X Cosmo is back as quickly as she was THANKS to a cat heh heh))
SEEDRIAN TRANSLATION: 'Guards, ask my mother if she can talk to my sister. And tell her Cosmo thinks it's urgent, if she agrees to talk to her. Please assist her as much as you can to set up the call.'
Tails: Cosmo's scary when she's angry... probably because she's usually so kind that the moments she is mad are legitimately serious...
