auhghh i will always lose my mind when yuri plisetsky breaks down crying after his free skate like for someone like him so aggressive and ferocious to collapse in tears publicly means so so so much. he's just a baby but like he's been at the top of his game not even needing to try in order to win by a huge margin but he craves someone to truly compete against, someone who will actually push him. and he's been goading katsuki yuri on because he sees the competitor he could be if he could just get out of his head and skate for real and then katsuki yuri steps up like no one ever has and yuri plisetsky is finally pushed to his breaking point and it's everything he wanted and needed and he fought with every bit of everything he had but in the end he doesn't know if it was enough. you left your soul out on the ice but was it enough.
