Yóste: “Totoro ft. Evangeline”
This is all kinds of low key beautiful. With heavenly ethereal vocals from Evangeline, Yóste’s beat sounds like its always on the cusp of something transcendently beautiful. With shades of Sigur Ros, Bon Iver and Youth Lagoon, get “Totoro” into your life.

For some expert cinematic composing and a haunting, profound atmosphere, check out Yóste's debut song Eternity. Yóste is a solo ambient electronic project based in Brisbane, Australia. The project began in late December during downtime between debut shows with Tora and New Navy as part of another band, If I Had Antlers, with influences drawn from the likes of Active Child and Bon Iver. Those influences are evident in the aptly named Eternity which gives off a spacious, fluid feeling of infinity. The ethereal, ambient song has a slow simmering, pensive quality to it in juxtapose to a cosmic expansiveness and timelessness. I feel as if I can drift as far as the universe can reach, for all time, while floating on this beautiful song.
