Every story will end eventually, but that doesn't mean each one doesn't have a purpose or greater meaning worth acknowledging.

Gravity Falls taught us to never take things at face value and to always try to think outside the box.

Wander Over Yonder showed us the importance of hope, friendship, and understanding. As well as being kind and helping where we can.

Steven Universe taught us about self-actualization, and that change is beautiful, inevitable, and necessary for growth. As well as taking care of your own needs before others wants.

She-Ra showed us that anyone can and should fight for what's right and to never give up. With enough time and effort, you can do anything you put your mind to.

The fact that all of these concepts are seen as childish and impossible dreams by many means that our world is in more dire need of these messages and lessons than ever before.

Ever since I was little, I've loved to make people happy. For a while, I've lost that spark due to depression, trauma, and allowing life and negativity to drag me down. Even though it's rarely ever that cut and dry.

But I know what I want to do now.

I want to create a world where everyone can feel like they belong and can acknowledge that their life has purpose.

I want to create a world where people can find their happiness and purpose. Where no one has to concern themselves with being judged for such inconsequential things as race, gender, sexuality, class, and whatever else society has decided is equal to a persons worth.

These are important things that make us all who we are, but they in no way determine our worth... and I so desperately want people to see that.

So that's what I'm gonna do, and that's what Y-3K is meant to be.

A beacon of hope. A magical escape from the very trying and depressing world we live in. A world and graphic novel series that'll give people the motivation to leave this world just a bit better than when they entered it.

The meaning of your life is whatever you make it to be, and this is what I plan to do with my life.

If anyone at all is interested in helping me with this, please feel free to DM me! I'd love to hear others thoughts and opinions on this and other matters relating to it.

Everyone always complains about how awful humans can be, but I plan to show everyone how the exact opposite can be true as well.

Blog Announcement

Ok wow I procrastinated a fuckton today didnt I... Right. So like I said last night I got a thing to say abt how imma b doin shit so y'all need to listen up a sec. Now, I've been kicking myself n beating myself up for not doing ANY DRAWING for the past several months. Well I've decided, after more than enough time to think about it, that I am going to force myself to draw. EVERY. DAY. Doesn't matter if it's a fuckin swirl on a piece of paper or a weird lil face on my hand er smth. I'm drawing everyday from now on. And the reason I say this is cuz I'm also going to be posting it on my art blog @y-3kproject that's been inactive since a little bit before I stopped drawing. On top of that, I'm super happy to say I've got a significant amount of ideas for this project as well (if you're curious about what it is just check my art blog or ask me abt it I'm sure it's still there...) so there'll be a lot more pertaining to that in the coming weeks as well. It may be big like... Important world building crap, or it might be something small like an outfit design er a weird haircut maybe, idrk yet. Point is I'm gonna be doing stuff and I'll be sharing it through here too (hence why I decided to mention it). So.. I suppose that's about it. And just so u guys know this isn't all talk, I've got smth I started working on a couple days ago that I'll make a post abt on there in a minute (it's really friggin cool in my opinion btw). Blog + After School Plans

Hey everyone,

So I’ve been meaning to let everyone know but I just haven’t had the time.

My plans for the Y-3K Project(my art blog in case you were curious) have been shifting quite often, so I’ve come up with a few ideas I’ll likely be following through with:

First off is the writing.

My original plan was just to work on my art skills and wait until I had the proper equipment/resources to make this a comic series.

Seeing as how that’s not likely to happen in the near future, I’ll be attempting to start with the writing and work my way up.

This will hopefully give me the time I need to improve the quality of my work, as well as developing the plot, characters, and just the world in general.

The second thing is going back and making adjustments to the text posts I’ve made.

I was originally going to refine each post before actually posting them, but I obviously never followed through.

The only other thing I’m debating for this is whether to create a separate post or just go back and rewrite the originals.

One final thing I wanted to say, even though this won’t be happening for awhile and it may not seem like a smart idea for me; My friend Saru and I will eventually be starting a couple different YouTube Channels.

From my understanding, the plan is for there to be(at the very least) 3 different Channels: The first one being mine. Where I will be posting… something half undecided and half confidential(for now).

The second being Saru’s Channel where he’ll be posting game play/let’s play videos(probably more but I don’t know what exactly).

And the third being an account belonging to the both of us where we will be posting things like sketch-comedy videos, music covers(possibly) and a weekly show that will be something akin to the Game Grumps.

Is it original? Hell no.

Will it happen? Hell yes.

Got any complaints? Tough.

Our reasoning is fairly simple:

We like playing video games.

We enjoy each others company.

And late at night, when we’re tired as shit, and start questioning the hidden meanings behind decades old songs:

We’re downright hilarious.

Now of course that’s merely an opinion, but it’s a nice way to get us to hangout and have fun. Something we’ve been having very little of for awhile now.

Assuming anyone is interested, my ask box is open for any questions you might have.

As for when this will be taking place, we aren’t entirely sure.

I still have yet to get a laptop and neither of us know much about recording or video editing.

But there’s enough resources and time to learn about that on our own.

To be fair, I’ll likely be doing most of the technical stuff myself(if not all of it), and I have a general understanding of video editing anyway. So that’s not much of an issue rn.

Really the only issues are the timing and resources.

This is a definite thing though, we just haven’t figured out scheduling because of scheduling.

That’s about it I guess.

Announcement

Hey guys, Just a quick little thing to let you know there won't be any posts until the weekend. My queue ran out and I don't have the time to fill it/post normally. I've got a lot of work I need to get done for my GD/DD class and it seems to be taking up a lot of my time. As I said though, I'll be back at it this weekend. Anyway, that's all I have for now. Hey guys, Just wanted to take a second to apologize for not being online for such a long time. I know it may not be very noticeable given that everything is on a constantly restocked queue, however I do try to get on and check in with some of my friends every once in awhile. Honestly it's been really bad lately in terms of stress/anxiety/depression, whatever. That's mainly to do with issues at home and partially with school work. Speaking of which, I'm working on a new logo and business card design for my Graphic/Digital Design Class. So hopefully that can go up on my art blog within the next week. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for sticking around and hopefully I can get back online on a regular basis here in the near future. That's all I have for now I guess... A few other things I’d like to mention as well:

First - Due to limited Time, Energy, Resources, and most importantly Money ( F*** Currency ), I am unable to make higher quality art. I’m pretty much limited to taking pictures of pen + paper stuff and Colors!3D ( if I ever bother to use it again that is… ).

That being the case, I also don’t plan on starting the book-making process until the proper requirements are met. For now, these posts are mainly laying the groundwork for the first book.

Second - As many have asked “why do you only draw people?”, I only have one ( complex ) answer:

My drawing process/Art process in general is rather vexing at times. I can only make something if I’m truly devoted to it. At the same time, I will most likely not work on anything I’m not all that interested in. On top of that, I need a specific project in mind in order to actually draw/write.

That being said, when I have said project in mind, I have to separate that into different parts/tasks.

A prime example being Y-3K:

There’s the Writing half and the Drawing half.

I then separate the Writing into things like Character Descriptions, Plot, Setting, World-Building, ect.

Whereas the Drawing is separated into categories like Character Design, Scenery, Wildlife, Equipment & Tools, stuff like that.

I’m currently working on the Character Designs, as well as Character Descriptions and World-Building.

I plan on either scanning the finished product of each character and uploading it, or taking the highest quality photos I can of each individual drawing. The latter is more likely considering I don’t have easy access to a scanner.

I then plan on posting each picture with the description on my Art Blog.

The same is to go for the Scenery, Wildlife, and Equipment & Tools as well.

I’m almost done with the Character Designs, but I still have a long way to go before they’re ready to be posted.

And now I have a few final things to mention:

- All work, text, post, ect. you see either on this blog or my Art blog is done through my smartphone ( currently an LG Mach ). Therefore there are a number of things I’m currently unable to do.

-If there is ever ANYTHING at all that you think I may need to change/work on/not do, I strongly urge you to message me about it. Whether it be on Anon or otherwise. I’m doing this partly so I can become a better artist and I can’t do that if I don’t know what’s wrong/when I’m wrong.

-I’m a senior and I’m going through a metric fuckton of problems right now. So a lot of my posting will either be queued or just plain inconsistent. I apologize immensely if this is in anyway hindering and will understand if you wish to unfollow/leave er w/e.

-Given the last one it goes without saying but I’m a teenager. Meaning, no matter what, I will fuck up eventually. I ask you to be understanding and not yell/insult me if I say or do something wrong. Just tell me what the problem is because I most likely did it w/o noticing.

-While I said I’ve listed off all the Elements, I have only listed the ones available to humans. The Dractanes Race have Three other Elements that I will introduce/describe in another post.

Well I’ve spent a good 2-3+ hours writing this so I’m gonna go find my friend or smth.

Blog Update (that's not actually for this blog but whatevs)

Alright so some people already know but I'll share it again just cuz: I'm currently in the process of starting a manga book series called Y-3K (dumb name right? W/e it's grown on me). Tbh, I've never legitimately done this sorta thing before so there's gonna be a lot of problems down the road, but nothing I can't handle (just being optimistic, I don't actually believe in myself that much). I have a blog specifically dedicated to this project, which you can find here: y-3kproject (If ur interested). Now I may have covered this already but.. well better safe than sorry. A number of the characters are based on my friends but most will be of my own characters. That being said, for now, their design(s) are not definite yet. I'm full of uncertainty and indecisiveness so not everything I post is "set-in-stone". Story or otherwise. But I trailed off again, The main reason I'm posting this is because I haven't been posting as much stuff as I was originally planning. This is for a number of reasons but the most important is I have yet to finish anything, why is that? Because I don't have the materials. But thankfully I can take care of that this weekend. I had my mom go take some money out of my account and we're going to get my supplies on Sunday. So I should be posting again either before or immediately after the 3DS Release of SSB4 (the one this coming-up Friday). And It's not just, like... one or two this time either. I've been working my butt off trying get this project moving. So for those of you following that blog, be prepared for a heap of characters. So that's all to be said on the matter for now.
