skyclan — year five — greenleaf
oh. uh. this is a bad season.
sol, uh, sol does his thing. i don't know what "his thing" means, here, but. uh. maybe he does the fox thing and then. and then it Does lead a trail of foxes into the gorge. because.
leafstar, honeypaw, and firekit die. leafstar dies protecting her kits, probably, and firekit is away from the rest. honeypaw tries to save her, and they both die.
so...skyclan has its second leader, patchstar. he appoints macgyver as his deputy, and they all try to learn to move on. it's not an easy transition.
after sol is exiled (which is immediately after the foxes), patchstar's first act as leader (before he even has his lives) is to make birdwing and sandynose warriors.
a few days later, he apprentices stormpaw to himself, and harrypaw to tinycloud. it's rough. they lost a littermate and a mother.
ebonyclaw has a litter of kits, pushing her to stay in the gorge full time. they are breezekit (flecked she-cat) and showerkit (silver tabby she-cat).
it's a pretty hard decison for her — the gorge doesn't exactly feel safe — but between petalnose and just general knowledge that kittypet kits are taken away from their mothers, she decides she'd rather face danger with her kits than without.
