aang is such a textually boring character to revolve everything around.. not only is he given easy way outs Every Time, every character (esp in the new movie) has to be constantly adjusting around his frankly idiotic decisions… main chatacter he’s the avatar blah blah blah ok then why isn’t he More Interesting……why is he not Compelling Me….. like consistently there is no character development to solidify his character? idk i was so bored watching the movie and seeing him make the same mistakes all over again…and his rship with katara always comes down to “you’ll NEVER understand who are you to say that etc etc”……bryke can give him muscles and a jawline to entice the fangirls n fanboys but that’ll never change the context of his bland, static, overly empowered characterization
