#YAAARGH #i will explain my reasoning #1. some of the main characters are deeply motivated by a need to make contact w dead loved ones #2. recently decided this family is descended from death himself #and im suddenly more interested in the sequel but im also insistent that the first novel needs to exist #and i was like how do i up the stakes for characters descended from death but they dont realize they are?#then i remembered all the NDE stuff i did with the SIA premise #so like. thinking about it idk
