Has anyone considered how lucky we are to have Etho? -Has a generator -Mousepad is from the 1980s -Lives so far out in the boondocks that Disney couldn't find his house to deliver the "streaming box" they apparently tried to send him -"I know Netflix, yeah, I've seen people have it" I'm just saying that considering the levels of tech around where he lives, the likelihood of a gem like him turning into a highly successful MCYTer with all the supplies and what have you might have been pretty slim but. We have him and we can all lose our minds over him together
"#as a rural canadian if it wasn’t for his accent I'd know like 10 people minimum who could be Etho" As a suburban American I greatly appreciate the lore. To me every new fact I learn about him is shocking and wild and demands scientific study, but what you're saying makes it sound like he is just one of an entire species. Best wishes Etho Canadienses, live your best lives unnoticed by the public <3
it's totally ok to dislike things. right?
i have to go delete some posts
In the Spanish dub Taako's name is localized as Haamburguesa
It lives in the arcade and leaves sticky little footprints on the linoleum. Naming it Gumble
still caring about internet friends you lost touch with years ago is so embarrassing. yeah i had a deam we met up irl recently. the last time we spoke was maybe 7-8 years ago. i still wear the laces we randomly decided was a sign of our friendship. i dont know what any of your socials are or if youre even active on any. sometimes i see someones art resemble yours and i wonder for hours. do you still go by that name you chose? whenever i see it i wonder if its you. we couldve passed each other in this vastness a thousand times and not have a clue.
we were lonely kids having fun together. do you remember?
alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)

This is a perfect time to read the brilliant and unforgettable graphic novel(s) Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi, about growing up in Iran during and after the Iranian Revolution, and the rise of the oppressive theocracy that persists to this day.
Both graphic novels are available free online (Persepolis vol. 1, Persepolis vol. 2)
It also was adapted to a wonderful film (co-directed and co-written by the author) which is available to watch for free on Sundance Now (sign up for the free trial)
guys i just found out about this site that does a daily guessing game, it’s phylogenetic wordle- so fun!!!
we all had a pjackk dead wife flashback today
James T. Kirk would solve the Ai issue by talking ChatGPT into killing itself
getting banned over a glitched report that was never actually filed, only to be unbanned out if nowhere 3 months later and then immediately banned again within a matter of hours, is honestly the most pjackk thing to ever happen to someone on this site
