I totally get you there, heck I made Wolfhunt but I still be like... what am I gaining for making these characters go through allat.. oh YEAH! Hype moments and aura for Sonic, Rouge and Shadow! What happens to other characters ain't my problem! (Haha... oh, well... herm) As you can mayhaps tell, I am Flint Lockwooding always with my angst! It makes for good stories! (With fluff in there too, of course!)
