so im a very masculine butch and i wanted to start showing my jewishness more outright.... are bitches allowed to wear kippah?

Do kippot have to be opaque?

I like to cover my head for services with scarves, and I’m going to go with kippot halacha or norms since they probably are closest to what I’m doing. 

I’ve seen a lot of scarves lately that are semi-translucent. They’re very pretty, and it would be apparent that there’s something on my head, but you can also see quite a bit through them. Also a question for when I use thick headbands for this purpose (ex. crocheted ones with big gaps as part of their design).
