Where in the world are you in this exact moment? a small Editing suite in downtown chicago
Tell us about your artistic practice! I am trying to figure out the idiosyncratic shape of romance at this moment
What ticks you!? things that are horrible and delicious
How do you come up with new work/topics? things that seduce me and captivate me. I attempt to digest them with idiosyncratic force.
Do you have certain interests/subject matters that you tend to return to? spectacle
What Do You Do For Fun? adventurous dates with bf
Dance or Dinner? dance till soaking wet and go out for greasy dinner
Audio or Visual? loud visual
Rhythm or Bass? Rhythm
What role does the artist have in society? great artists are capable of reminding people the power of imagination
What's your favorite artwork? From the one of the most recent experience.. I really enjoyed Anthropology museum in Mexico City. It has awesome collection of beautiful auspicious sculptures from older cultures from Mexico, I enjoyed the contemporary architecture that contains/reflects those artifacts too.
What wouldn't you do without? a consent from my intuition.
Favorite movie? Cao Fei's second life movies. They made me sob. Favorite movie soundtrack? The song Aladin and Jasmine sing in the first magic carpet ride date in Disney's Aladin movie. It has been my fav of this winter. I want a magic carpet so I can kidnap my bf in the middle of the night. We will fly over the whole world till the sunrise.
Favorite Artist? I just remembered Furuya Minoru, Usta Kyosuke were my stars and idols in my high school years! they taught me so much.
