So I was just randomly thinking and I got an Au idea (or I guess it’s more of a “what-if”) for Twst, that being… What if a little Malleus somehow ended up on Earth?

…okay, maybe not exactly this.

Moreso, what if Malleus’ egg somehow got to Earth and ended up being raised there?

Hope you’re ready for a yap session ‘cause I surprisingly wrote a lot! (Obviously I’m still new to the Twst fandom in general so I may be wrong about some lore and the Au/what-if may have some plot-holes. If so, people who are more into the fandom can correct me.);

The basic premise is; Malleus’ egg somehow ended up on Earth after being seperated from Lilia, rested there for a good 160 years (if I’m doing my math correctly here…) until it was finally found by a person who, for whatever reason, took the egg and cared for it until it hatched a baby Malle, thanks to their love, and adopts him once they find out that this lizard could become a literal human(ish) baby. (Could be parents but in my mind for this, Malle has an adoptive single Mama)

For the sake of not giving Malleus any angst of him outliving his adoptive parent(s), we’ll just say that thanks to a human’s love hatching him, he’d age like a normal human despite being Fae. Or maybe it’s a downside due to it taking him so long to hatch. Either way, he’d be around 17/18 when he gets dragged off to NRC. Pick your poison 🤷

Malleus (though obviously he isn’t named Malleus) is raised, for the most part, like any other kid. Sure, he sometimes wonders why he has pointed ears and horns while his parent(s) had round ears and lacked horns, and he did get odd looks from some and occasionally hurtful names by others, but outside of that, he had a good life. Of course, then comes the carriage…

Obviously there’d be some BIG big changes and questions. Obviously, Lilia would have still been exiled (because not only did he “let Meleanor die for (in the Senate’s eyes) nothing” but he also lost the prince’s egg), but beyond that point, what would happen?

Would Lilia ever adopt Silver? If so, how would he treat him? Would he (and Silver, should he still even be alive at that point) even bother attending NRC? If not, who would be Diasomnia’s Housewarden? (Lilia in canon was Vice-Housewarden, so I think it’d only be fitting he’d be the actual Housewarden if Malleus somehow wasn’t)

It's kinda funny that a lot of people are hyped about Silent Salt is being voiced by Ray Chase (due to his much more popular roles)... as if Almond isn't ALSO voiced by him

Okay so it looks like Smoked Cheese will be fighting WITH Golden Cheese rather than against her. Thank God- (Maybe he'll be against her at first but then later come around to fight with her)

Okay so those little monkey are capable of speaking and we have a bunch of mysterious Cookies.

Judging by their appearance and how they're similar to the creatures that are most likely going to be fighting against Golden Cheese, I think it's fair to assume that those Cookies are some of those creatures that can either shapeshift between forms or they've just been given forms of Cookies. (Maybe by Burning Spice)

Y'know, considering how many people want Mega Flygon to be a real thing (especially considering we got Mega CHIMECHO of all things before it), it wouldn't surprise me that when we do get one, it'll probably be either the goofiest or the laziest thing as a "fuck you" from Game Freak, playful or otherwise.

Like what happened with Dudunsparce and how people thught it'd be a badass dragon or something. (Even though it's based on a booze loving chubby snake but eh)
