I like how there's enough ambiguity here that you could say the Ring killed his vassals, or Alexander himself did while he was blacked out.
Since Yami Bakura's soul fragment was hanging around in the Millennium Puzzle during Capsule Monsters, I wonder what he thought of the shared nightmares Yami Yugi and Yugi had that made the Puzzle act up, as well as Alexander briefly being trapped inside the Puzzle's maze. (Plus how Alexander once owned the Ring...)
Woke up from a Capsule Monsters dream where Yugi merged with Dark Magician while figuring out a puzzle, but was too tall for its security system and got hit with an energy ball, so he merged with 'Pearl Magician' instead, who looked like Silent Magician Level 4 but was wearing a white version of the Dark Magician Duel Armor. He was very worried Dark Magician was hurt.
Ryou was also there and there was some conflict/confusion over whether Yami Bakura or Alexander was possessing him, and at one point Tea borrowed Dark Witch's spear to defend herself and spooked him.
An interesting thing in Capsule Monsters is how Alexander's good half says he failed the five trials, while his evil half says he completed the five trials, but the doorway refused to open for him. I think the thing that stopped him entering the first time was the lack of an opponent, since the final test is a battle between teams where only the victor would gain power.
Tea and Joey ready to support Yugi til the end ^^
Makes me wonder what would’ve happened if they had failed and been stuck there, since if that happened Alexander would have no way to open the final door. (Maybe he’d head back into the Capsule Monsters world to wait it out until someone else came along?)
I like how Capsule Monsters used the Seven-Armed Fiend. The official Yu-Gi-Oh handbook claims it was one of Yami Bakura’s monsters, most likely cause of the card Ryou’s father got when he bought the Ring in the anime, which adds even more layers to Alexander’s evil side the Ring drew out.
