Varies by iteration, but a prime contender in any universe: the internal acceptance of who and what she is. That yeah- she's prickly, she's difficult, she's got anger issues, she looks weird- and that's all fine. Half of those things aren't even good or bad, they just are, and the rest? She can work on it and use it; that monstrosity is all a matter of perspective, and she can be a hell of a lot more than people's worst assumptions.

Ok so I remember pride and prejudice being ur fav movie so. Have you watched enola Holmes yet? It’s based in I think the same time period and it’s abt sherlock’s sister and let me tell u. The way Tewksbury looks at Enola in the hand kiss scene 😍😳🥺
YAH omg enola holmes has been on my to-watch list for a while,, i just haven't seen it yet 🙈 i will definitely be watching it soon tho and i'll let you know what i think !! (also yes p&p is my favorite movie and i just love period dramas in general so this movie is right up my alley!)
