I have already said this before but it will never not be funny to me that Annabeth gets to be the jealous one in the relationship in the eyes of the fandom because she said one mean thing to Rachel then literally one chapter later they were talking about architecture together, but when Percy canonically says that he feels jealous over the time Thalia and Luke were with Annabeth and how much he hates Luke everytime she meantions him, he's Mr. Not-Toxic and "so much better than her", and by funny I mean sexist lol

the thing i love about annabeth and that i feel a lot of people get wrong about her is that yes shes a lovergirl but she's also so incredibly self-possessed that we frequently see her refuse to lose or sacrifice herself (in terms of values and personality, not in terms of physical safety if that makes sense) for the sake of someone else. she's nobody's sidekick. and i think thats so neat for a female character, to look at particularly the two most important guys in her life, percy and luke, and refuse to be subsumed by their burdens. like yeah she'll call percy a coward and refuse to run away with luke. and that doesnt take away from the fact that she believes so deeply in them that it pulls them out of the generational cycles they've all been trapped in, one way or another

i highly doubt it, there’s no way there would even be talks to create a spinoff chb series for books that haven’t even come out yet if they weren’t confident in public interest for the main series that people had twenty years to marinate on. i feel like they might do a joint s4/5 renewal. that being said, i’m scared for what they’ll do for s4 but i hope they’ll do annabeth’s perspective justice
