small idea:

so fulgrim and sanguinius both paint right.

but what if they have very different styles

fulgrim paints lots of classical, rococo, and baroque paintings. it's all about the perfection and the idealism and the theatrics of it all. he paints scenes of ceremonies and life at the emperor's palace; custodes and emperor's children at their posts; dramatic war paintings of his victories; all in a studio and staged perfectly. and of course loads and loads of self portraits.

sanguinius however paints more impressionism, romantic, and realism. he paints in plein air where he can: his servants doing their jobs; landscapes and cityscapes that inspire him; abstract depictions of the things he sees in his foresight (Especially during the heresy). he sees beauty in the everyday and can almost paint feelings: small joys, deep sorrows, intense furies.

I keep thinking about this video clip. I don't remember what video it's from but to me it really encapsulates the problem most people have with Vivziepop's work. They just don't understand it. No I'm being so serious here! In that clip, the YouTuber is cringing at Adam telling Charlie to call him Dickmaster and talking over her reaction and... That wasn't the joke! The joke was Charlie's offput reaction! She thinks it's cringy and dumb!

It's like when people criticized Loona's "I can't see dick" line from season 1 episode 6 of Helluva Boss, asking in a mocking way "where's the joke here?" That's your problem, you're so focused on trying to affirm your "Vivziepop is unfunny woman" narrative that you completely missed that fact that that line wasn't the joke! There wasn't even a joke in that scene. At all! Those people have just convinced themselves that Vivziepop thinks swearing is inherently funny so that must mean any time a character swears, you're supposed to laugh. It's parasociality mixed with media illiteracy at its finest!
