Thinking Thoughts on a MettaTenna late night talk show cohosts au....
Tenna has been running this show solo for a decade before suddenly picking up a cohost. All the rumors say it's because he's training his replacement and retiring soon, but Tenna is actually terrified of retirement and not ready to let go of his show. Mettaton was invited as an attempt to save ratings and keep it from being canceled
Mettaton ran a wildly successful local broadcast in Hotland, but he's got severe big fish in a small pond-itis and when he gets to Tenna's studio and suddenly isn't the biggest celebrity in the room, he doesn't adapt to it super well. Used to being famous and fawned over, so he comes off as a bit of an entitled brat
That being said he looks up to and deeply respects Tenna, because he's been a viewer since long before he transitioned [into a robot] and became an entertainer, so he very much modeled himself as a host after Tenna
MTT also wants Tenna so bad it makes him stupid, meanwhile Tenna is just convinced MTT is out of his league and all that flirting is just "being nice"
