Chapter 1 - Impossible match

This is where it all started, me myself and I, Delilah, minding my own buisness in this new school i've been transferred to in Texas, HC Academy, I've seen all the type of people in here, the basic ones, the popular girls, the footballers boys and volleyball girls and the alt people. And if i could describe myself in one word, it would be nerd.

everyone calls me that, but i cannot deny it i literally am a copy paste of the stereotype ! Round glasses, braces, always carrying my books and quiet, no friends, appreciated by teachers. Later that day, I was re-organizing my locker and one of the popular girl approached me, i immediately was captivated in her appearance. Am I living in a fiction ? She was also fitting the stereotype of popular girls, she was blonde curly voluminous hair, blue eyes, full face makeup always chewing that damn gum, rich, her outfit looked like she was a fashion icon at the 2000s ! Are you saying I'm in love ? Ew, never, sorry but gay isn't my thing and im good with being normal.

When she approached me, she greeted me :

"Hello there, you're new ? Name's Sienna."

She was nice ! A kind popular girl fitting the stereotype ? Do you imagine ?

"Uh, yeah I'm new... name's Delilah."

For a reason, my heart beated fast, what was happening to me ? Then her soft sweet voice spoke again :

"Delilah...cute ! Do you need help with these books ? They seem heavy to carry."

And my heart did a whole rollercoaster, WHAT WAS HAPPENING ?

As my usual shaking hands and stuttering, I replied

"Y-you're nice ! I-if you want to.."

Sienna picked up my books and was going to reorganize them in my locker, when, i felt a heavy weight landing straight on my face. I collapsed on the floor, my glasses shattered, and all i heard was Sienna's "soft and sweet" voice suddenly changing into a snob voice, she was laughing. I thought i finally had a friend, but no, and again I was humiliated for being myself. But this time, I felt something different....

Sienna: "Oh my days ! Did you really think i was gonna let people see me with... eyes up and down you ? laugh Never, now go away or i'll use your vulnerable body to mop those floors."

She left, walking away and stepping on me with her pink heels and as she spat her gum into my face.

I was never THAT humiliated, EVER. Not even in my old school, but, why....

I am not asking why always me... why did i kind of enjoy it and hate it at the same time ? Why did I like being dominated by her ? I have a boyfriend ! Why ?

Based on hxh, can you write a oneshot featuring Leorio and a woman reader in an Aladdin au please? I imagine Leorio as a street rat who disguises himself as a prince to enter the palace and spend time eith the princess. While there, he learns more about the princess and her personal wishes while the princess starts to recognize the prince. What do you think?

Under The Covers

Leorio was never a real prince, but everyone mistook him as one.

He looked similar to one, almost like an odd twin.

One day, he stole some jewelries and was running to his poor, ugly place when he was snickering:

"That seller was so stupid !"

He wears the jewelries, all proud, when he sees guards coming towards him, he panics, thinking they caught him and started his prayers and wondering if he will go to heaven or hell.

But, they took him gently and just said :

"Welcome, prince of Sumeyyah, did you enjoy the visit to our land ? We hope so, our king is waiting for you at our palace"

He immediately wanted to jump and say that it was not him, but, a palace life? He's definitely not complaining.

As he enters the luxurious, golden palace, full of palm trees and a refreshing vanilla scent.

Here he was, infront of Sultan Hamed Bobolonius II of Agrabah himself.

He was kind of trembling, but took a breath and spoke :

"Hello dear Sultan, I have come back from my...excellentiness adventure.?" as he tried to imitate a "polite" version of english thinking he mastered it

The sultan just nods, Leorio thinks:

"Thats it? No complicated speech ? Nothing ?"

Leorio pretends to walk to his guest room but in reality, he didn't even know where it was. He stops in a middle of an empty corridor and puts on white robes with sheets so people believe that he is actually a visiting prince. While wandering around the palace and almost breaking multiple secret passages buttons, he goes outside to the garden and found y/n, she was sitting under a palm tree, reading a book, Leorio's heart rate beat faster. Y/n noticed him and thought:

"Why is he looking at me in such an idiotic way ? Hm, he is kind of charming though"

Leorio went talking to her:

"Hey !! .....(he thinks)shit what is her name..."

"It's Y/n, I know you are not the prince of Sumeyyah, but you look kind of attractive so I don't care."

"So, you're a princess, what are you doing in the garden reading ? Why don't you just, travel ? There's Dubai, China, New Yor-"

"My parents don't let me go anywhere outside."

"Wait what? Not even groceries ?"

"Man, we're rich... We have servants for that..."

"Right, rich nepo babies.."

"Excuse me?!"

"NOTHING"

"Right."

"Don't you wanna go out sometimes ?"

"I have parents."

"You are not your parents possessions."

The princess pauses and thinks

"I've already tried...but they always catch me.."

"WELL WE CAN ESCAPE TOGETHER! AND I DON'T WANNA LIVE IN THIS LIFE OF NEPO BABIES IM ALREADY LOST IN YOUR SYSTEM AND PALACE"

"Calm down ! Oh wait, I forgot, my name is Y/n"

"Mine is Leorio, can we escape now?"

"Listen Leorio, it's not easy in here, they have alot of traps and stuff in this palace, you gotta get used to it."

"We can still bypass it?"

Y/n smirks

"Hell yeah !"

The princess closed her book and put it on a table nearby, then wiped her dress covered in sand and said

"Aight, If we wanna get out, we gotta do it properly, one mistake and it's over."

"Alright, alright"

Then Leorio's eyes widen as he looked at the doors

"The guards left ?? This is so easy let's go !"

"Leorio, there's traps on the way so let's be careful"

They carefully walked through the way until the door when in middle of it, Leorio hears a click under his feet when he stepped on a tile

"Oh no, no, no-"

Then the tile dissapeared and Leorio and y/n fell together in a nowhere hole

"Leorio, never step on tiles with lotus drawings on it"

"AND ALWAYS WARN ME GOSH"

"Now, we have to wait for the guards to receive that we escaped and they'll pick us up there"

"ARE YOU CRAZY? THEY'LL CATCH US SO EASILY THEY AREN'T SUPPOSED TO KNOW ? GOSH NOW THAT IM ALMOST GONNA DIE IMMA CONFESS I STOLE ALL THAT JEWELRY"

"WHAT? Oh my gosh a fake prince and a thief now ughh"

Then y/n thinks of her favorite movie, Tangled.

She braids her long hair and yeets it towards the top as she waits for Leorio to climb it.

Leorio was just blushing at the sight of seeing her with braided hair and how she looked so hot with it but y/n yells:

"HURRY UP!"

He quickly climbs her hair as he picks her up to the top when he made it

Y/n wipes again her dress from dust as she turns to Leorio saying:

"Run."

They both run, no questions, no double thinking.

Meanwhile, the Sultan goes to see the tile, excepting the princess to be in there but mutters to himself :

"No one ? This signal must be broken..." As he walks back to his throne

Y/n an Leorio hiding in the wall near the Sultan sighed of relief, the Sultan bought the lie.

"You're lucky, thief boy."

"Our escape plan failed my lady, we gotta make another one tomorrow"

Y/n nods of agreement and they go to rest.

Early in the morning, when Leorio and y/n were still asleep, the Sultan receives a letter from the Sultan of Sumeyyah, the Sultan thinks that it's probably asking news of his son, he opens the letter and reads that specific line that catched his eye :

"I must inform you that, my son, Sabli Abbad, will visit your kingdom next week."

The Sultan was confused, wasn't his son already in it ? Then he immediately clocks it.

Later that day, Leorio was infront of the Sultan, the Sultan talking about how he exposed him, then the Sultan asks him a question :

"What is your name ?"

Leorio, dumbfounded, replies

"I am the prince of Sumeyyah."

The Sultan scoffs and replies

"Your real name."

Leorio's heart dropped, he was shaking, so was the princess stalking the scene from far away.

"Uhh..Sumeyyah ?"

The Sultan immediately reacts and orders his guards :

"Send him at the border of the country."

When he was walking towards the door, watched by guards, y/n ran to him, in tears

"What would I become without you... We promised to escape together.."

Her nose was red as she hugged Leorio very tightly, Leorio was also devastated, but, he suddenly lifts his white robe up and hides y/n under it.

Y/n didn't even have time to ask questions or protest as he ran on top of the camel, the city lights of Agrabah lighting in the distance. Since Leorio's robe was a little see through, y/n was in love with her own kingdom, the palms, the thin sand, the fresh scent of vanilla mixed with the scent of spices nearby, the laugh of children playing red light green light. Everything, when they arrived at the border, Leorio quickly ran outside of the country holding y/n in his arms as they both laughed in joy, genuine joy and loving the feeling of being free.

They were now in the kingdom of Sumeyyah as y/n snickers

"Since your 'the prince' show us around YOUR kingdom"they both laugh but Leorio asks

"Where we going ?"

Y/n grinned.

“Anywhere they don’t want us to be.”

And for once, Leorio didn't have to pretend to feel happy

Blank Page

It was an autumn evening, I was still a child and my mother had asked me to bring her some soup from the supermarket in front of our house for our meal. It was pitch dark, the streetlights illuminated the streets filled with fog. Upon entering, I saw the cashier and greeted him. I searched aisle by aisle, looking for my mother’s order. On my way, I think I passed an employee putting labels on products. I found the soup and walked through the supermarket to reach the checkout. Suddenly, I saw a book in a rather unusual place, a toy aisle. It was beautiful, black, as black as coal, it drew me in. At first glance, it might have seemed quite basic, but I found a certain charm in it. I liked dark things a lot. I hesitated to take it because my mother didn’t share the same tastes as me but never mind, I gave in, it was made for me. Out of pure curiosity, I opened it and discovered only blank pages. I had a deep passion for drawing, by the way, without wanting to brag, I had a talent for it. My drawing style? Horror! Horror was a blessing for me because my hobby was watching horror movies of that kind. So I took it with me, but at the checkout, the cashier admitted he had never sold this book. A slight questioning suddenly arose within me but since the cashier was kind and had offered it to me for free, I didn’t worry, I was even rather happy. I returned home with a pleasant feeling, that of not returning empty-handed. I watched a horror movie on the way back, the antagonist character of the film inspired me greatly so I decided to reproduce him in my new notebook. At the end of the movie, my watch showed twenty-three hours and fifty-three minutes. I was exhausted so I settled into my bed and fell into a deep sleep. I was sleeping when a noise interrupted my deep sleep, it was a sound coming from my room, very close to me. I reassured myself thinking it was one of my parents since the sound was that of drawers opening and closing, but a slight doubt still lingered in my head. I tried to fight for sleep when a growl suddenly sounded, immediately understanding that it was not my parents, I got up abruptly and with anxiety. In the dark and without my glasses, I could hardly see. I took my glasses, struggling to handle them because I was trembling with fear, and I still didn’t see as well as before, but I managed to make out the silhouette of a character and this character, I knew well. He looked exactly like the character I had drawn the day before. I was speechless, the thought of death crossed my mind and refused to leave. When I mustered the courage, I screamed, I think it was one of the worst screams I have ever made, my parents ran to my room to see what had happened and as soon as they opened the door, I explained myself, my voice full of terror

Dad! Mom! I bought this drawing notebook and when I draw something, it comes to life! I pointed at the character, but he was no longer there. To defend myself, I replied

Look at the proof! I took the notebook and opened it, the page where the character was drawn was torn but without paying attention to it and most importantly without wasting time, I drew a flower pot, but it did not appear. My father sighed and went back to his room while my mother replied:

You seriously need to stop watching horror movies! And what you experienced must probably be sleep paralysis or a nightmare, or something like that. My mother went back to her room and I stayed standing, disappointed, questioning everything that had happened to me. The next day, instead of getting up, I reflected: maybe I could take advantage of all this, right? So I ran to the kitchen asking my father:

Can I have a cat? He replied, without looking up from his newspaper:

If you feed it, clean its litter, vaccinate it, neuter or spay it, we’ll see. I thanked my father and ran to my room, took my notebook and drew a cat, white with gray spots and green eyes, I really tried to do my best and I’m proud of it. I also drew arrows around him and at the end of the arrows I had written “Never hungry,” “Never needs to go to the litter,” “Well-behaved,” “Vaccinated” and when I finished, he appeared! I was very happy petting my new cat, my mother came into my room wanting to call me for breakfast:

You haven’t even had your breakfast! What are you doing?

I’m playing with my new cat!

But what cat?

…My new cat?

Well, if you want… but don’t forget to eat! My mother closed the door while I continued to play with the cat, and it had become part of my routine! Then one day, I was bored because it was raining outside and my cat was sleeping so I wanted a hamster, so as usual I took my notebook and drew a cute little hamster, but what appeared was a giant, unknown creature that was very scary. It growled while I, who have good reflexes, grabbed my eraser and erased the hamster drawing. The monster disappeared and I took my notebook again, this time I drew a tiny, adorable puppy but again, a Doberman appeared. I erased it again and each time, the opposite appeared. Then, I saw my cat wake up so I played with him to cheer myself up when my mother came to ask me:

What are you doing?

I’m playing with the cat

But what cat for heaven’s sake?! I laughed, it was absurd since he was in my arms biting my hand! But, in the blink of an eye, he disappeared, and then everything I had drawn before, my animals, my new clothes, my new furniture disappeared. A few hours after this strange event, I ran to the notebook to recover everything and when I opened it: there were no more pages! So I screamed in frustration. I ran to my parents and told them everything when my father cut me off:

I burned all the pages, so you would leave us alone with your imaginations. I sighed but continued to tell everything, when I finished, my parents looked at each other and then my mother said:

Do you want to go to grandma’s to cheer you up? Suddenly, my heart beat faster and I replied blissfully:

Oh yes! I loved going to grandma’s, she is so kind, funny and the meals she prepares are so delicious! And I was convinced she would believe me. Finally in the car, my father drove with such precision for I-don’t-know-what reason, he was focused and even activated the GPS just to go to grandma’s? Then I noticed that the route was completely different and we weren’t going to grandma’s. Today, I am twenty-six years old and I have been locked in a psychiatric hospital since I was thirteen. Every day seems to repeat endlessly, the minutes stretch and I remain seated on my chair, motionless, my gaze lost in the void. Every month my parents come to visit me. They sit across from me, exchange a few words and then leave, leaving me alone with the silence that takes back all its place. One day, when I no longer expected anything, a package arrived from an unknown sender with the words: “For Jennie Quim.” I lingered over opening it, rejoicing to receive a package. Inside was a book, but not just any book. I could have recognized it just by touching it despite the years that had passed, it was THAT book. My heart instantly raced, feeling a lump form in my throat. I no longer wanted to see it, and yet it was placed there in front of me as if it had been waiting for me. I opened it and leafed through page by page, despite my trembling hands, but found nothing. A mixture of frustration and curiosity overwhelmed me. I tried to draw the same character that haunted my mind since childhood, hoping to bring the page to life but nothing. I closed the book when suddenly I saw writing on the first page. I read these words that disturbed me:

“Nobody will believe you.” I read this sentence carefully and to be sure I repeated it out loud, then in the blink of an eye, nothing remained, everything had disappeared. My heart pounding wildly, I felt panic invade me and a terrible long scream came out of my throat, unable to take my eyes off this blank page.
