SXY and TLJ didn't die and did manage to run away with LBH, and LBH is a spoiled little shit demon that is raised to believe that if he wants something to persist until it's yours (TLJ's fault). And eventually he becomes emperor (TLJ's fault).
HHP is somehow revealed to be corrupt (cough cough Su Xiyan), so the sect is under the care of GYX. And for whatever reason he doesn't marry XGZ and they separate. Probably something to do with her finding out her dad was a terrible guy. Well, whatever.
The newest generation of the Cang Qiong Mountain Sect had ascended. MF is the new Qing Jing Peak Lord. And he has a similar thing where he trusts women more than men because ya boi loves making parallels between SJ!SQQ and MF. But ngl it probably came from SQQ's teachings
And since there's no SY, the world needs a single and desirable man to be the most wanted bachelorette. And, man I sure do love causing trouble for MF.
Now the dilemma is poor Junshang and Sect Leader Gongyi don't have a mean wife that can manhandle them. Woe is them.
Luckily, there's an ice cold beauty (you can take away my pretty adult MF away from my cold dead hands. im at your window. im biting your computer wires) on a mountain that is known for throwing men off his mountain when they come along for his hand.
Unfortunately for MF, he feels sudden doom approaching him. He is already dealing with the Bai Zhan peak lord (its YYX) coming every day to ask for his hand in marriage. Bai Zhan are such brutes, it couldn't be worse.
So he tells his good friend, the Xian Shu peak lord (it's LMY), about his woes without realizing she's thinking about how a good pegging might fix him but also how she would pay to watch him get destroyed.
Good thing his great childhood friend, Ning Yingying, is there to comfort him (she wants him too). He has such great friends.
Idk I just believe the women would be better at hiding their attraction then the men.
Later on GYX meets MF and he starts trying to court him. MF throws him off the mountain repeatedly. It becomes known the HHP's sect leader is trying to seduce the new QJPL.
Xiao Gongzhu hears about her ex-fiance moving on from her and she's livid. She makes it her life's purpose to snipe MF from GYX to make him jealous. And MF gets another person as his door trying to seduce him.
And then like idk the sects meet with LBH to negotiate a peace treaty. LBH was about to decline until he sees the QJPL stomp a demon flat on the ground after it tried biting him. Obviously, LBH is enamored with the cold-hearted peak lord and agrees with the peace treaty and shamelessly flirts with MF right there in the middle of the meeting.
SHL is pissed that Junshang made it impossible to mess with humans just for a man and decides fuck Junshang and gets touchy with MF (both to mess with LBH and get closer to LMY). And since MF is softer with women, he doesn't immediately throw her off.
And because why not, we also have zhufan. Like idk MF probably saved one of ZZL's snakes or him in his freaky snake form. But yeah, we're throwing another heavenly demon into the mix.
So anyway with MF being harassed by 8 people.
Is it a polycule? ... I don't trust them to not kill each other to be completely honest.
Who wins MF over at the end? Idk. Dealer's choice... Wait I'm the dealer. Well, probably not SHL. She's only here to ragebait Junshang.
Is this a serious? Nope. I just think it's funny to give MF more stress than necessary. He's less oblivious than SY while somehow being more averse to his suitors. It's wonderful 😊
