Ebonay Beautay!
Is your Body & Soul beach-ready?
I love how Tori opens this song with a tritone, known as the 'devil's tone' and commonly used in metal. FUN FACT: She also used it a lot in 'Trouble's Lament', a song about Trouble falling out with Satan! >:-D
I've been working on a bunch of songs, but they aren't coming together just yet, so here's another redo of one of my favourite songs, Twinkle! Have you ever noticed that in the last few seconds on Boys for Pele, if you turn up the volume, you can hear Tori press the sustain pedal again (opening up the strings to resonate freely), which I interpret as Tori saying: "Okay, this book is closed, I'm ready for a new story."
What are you thoughts?
Here's a new version of one of my favourites that doesn't get the love it deserves in my humble opinion: Not the Red Baron!
I asked my Patrons what harpsichord song they'd like to hear (again) and Caught A Lite Sneeze won! Here's the new version without drumloop.
